  1. Does anyone know what Rifle shafts may have been in my TM 300 Forged irons from 2001? I bought them as Miura forged and have kept them because of how tremendous they felt. But as the inveterate tinkerer I put them away to try more modern stuff. Dumb me, I removed the shafts thinking that I would use the shafts in other heads over these past 5 years or so and I've now lost track of where I may have used them. The shafts came to me without any labels on them. I still have the 5 iron shafted up that has remained in my bag. I'm now wanted to try to recreate "the magic" with them and I would like to try to reshaft them with something as close to them as possible. I know that the shafts were rebar. Just nice and very smooth. BTW, I reshafted the 7 iron with a DG R300 and the magic is still in the 7 iron, at least, with that shaft but I sure would like to find the shafts that were as close of a match as I can find to the original Rifles.
  2. I think I'm going to start with the Tour Velvet Mid of which I bought one two weeks ago to begin this with. The Star mid isn't too bad either.
  3. The wall thickness on the upper end is noticably thicker.
  4. Thanks for all the info given me, guys.
  5. That all makes sense about just going ahead with midsize grips. I stooped into golf galaxy today and brought home a Lamkin/Superstroke and a tour velvet midsize. There’s is a significant difference in overall weight that is noticeable by even squeezing them in your fingers.
  6. I’ve developed arthritis in my right hand. Before going out and buying mid sized grips approximately how many wraps would be needed to achieve a reasonable approximation of a mid sized grips. I’ve got Tour Velvets regular size
