Practicing with feedback is the only way to improve. Enjoy your fitting, hopefully you fit into a nice My Day or B60, just so we can see pictures!

Tour Swag Golf putters - 2025 Wyndham Championship

A proper blade! trailing edges that aren't 5mm deep! What's not to love? -
As oft is said a good fitting is part lesson. The OP sounded like they had a decent stroke, just that their shaft lean was inconsistent. Something that can be fixed with the eye of a good fitter. Is the PING App something you can continue to use? with a training aid you'd dial in most of your numbers.
-
If it's consistent like you said, if it's inconsistent you'd like the player to find where they're comfortable and try and suggest drills to make them more consistent. I'd get the player to make sure their set-up is repeatable and the ball position doesn't change.

It's after 2001, about the time 2-Ball knock-offs started to appear (as well as other circular alignment aids). It would be when Ram/Zebra were part of the bigbox stores. So 20 years is about right.
-
Offset and loft can affect shaft lean, as well as inconsistent ball position. Something like the HackMotion Plus would be an excellent training aid albeit an expensive one. But you can use a ball between your wrists and grip if your movements are excessive or want to feel what a consistent wrist motion feels like.

LIV Tour Discussion Thread (*** NO POLITICS ***)

Yikes. I usually watch the Replay on the website or App, and now it says it wants 8.99 or 59.99 for the event or season. I've been watching this way on the UK since LIV started. Has something changed? I watched the Round 1 Replay on the App Saturday morning. -
It was more like a full-body dry heave at impact. IBF could play well during practice and hit well on the range, but under the gun he was gone. To his credit he's always come across as a decent, humble guy, considering his talent and potential. Great commentator too. Like others that went through it there was a line between playing well and losing it. A certain spotlight that turned a switch on or off.

I wonder if it's an Adams/Taylormade type situation, so you'd think Callaway or Taylormade.

Ping i240 Irons! In-Hand Pics!

Still not sold on the looks, I'd dreamt of cast Blueprint S with some kind of sound dampening pocket. Or just blend the i210s and the i200s into one, and have them available 3-LW. The thing with these is folks want them to look sleeker but the BP-S are waving at us from the next rack. -
I'm pretty he gamed an Anser 2 mid-late '98.

I appreciate the Range content but the musical cut-away every what seems like 30 seconds to The Open logo is going to drive me even nuttier.

It seems like ennui, but it's healthy when you need to be focused on the process and not the outcome. It would be healthy in other professions too but the outcome and a successful one is sacrosanct. Once you succeed you're expected to do it again, faster, better, and bigger. Some folks will see this as a ho-hum attitude, but looks like he's giving 100%. I see it as you make a hole in one, but you've still got the next shot to hit, you've got to take that euphoria, level out and start again.

Mizuno Pro S-1 Irons! In-Hand Pics!
chip75 replied to knudson81's topic in Tour and Pre-Release Equipment
I remember when folks like Mizuno and Maruman had three to five blades on their books, Mizuno had TP9, TP10, TP11, and TP19 in production at one time. Of course as tech improved they proliferation of forged game improvement grew and blades decreased as their look and feel improved. Sales dropped as player habits changed, but too most golfers they see blades as manufacturers premium product even if it's "look, don't touch". There's always a speed and strike cut-off, but I think a lot more players could game at least a couple if blades. They're much more playable these days. -
They look like upgrades only at the moment, might be worth emailing Callaway.
