I agree. If you look at my swingspeed alone, I would fit into stiff. However, at every fitting when the fitter puts me into stiff flex, I start hitting these high right flares that fall short. He then puts me in a X flex and I start hitting draws that also go further with the same decent angle.

I think that is because he is such a methodical golfer that never hits it “off the moon” and therefore, never has to hit a heroic shot to recover. It is just fairways and then 20’ on the proper side of the hole. He then makes 30-50% of those 20’ putts and wins by many.

I got my 9.2R today. It sits really square. Scotty has figured this out so that no matter how you ground the putter, it will be square. With the 9.2R they mentioned that they used an “009 style) neck. I guess that just means they used a plumbers neck. The 9.2R neck is shorter than the 009 and the toe hang is not near as much as an 009. Here are photos below comparing toe hang with the 9.2R, the SS Fastback 1.5 and 009M.

I would like to know the weight of these as well. I just got my 9.2R and it feels slightly lighter than my Studio Style FB 1.5. I will take it to the shop and swingweight it tomorrow but curious if/when someone weighs it. On the feel side, it feels great. I am going to put into play on my next round straight away.

How Many Major Championships will Scottie Scheffler Win?
Carson33 replied to AintNoHobby's topic in Tour Talk
It would be fun to watch him get to 10. He is clicking right now, but you never know what will happen. In 2015, I thought Speith would win 10 majors. I could see Scottie winning the US Open to finish the career GS, and then pulling back from the game to grow his family and spend more time with them. -
Watching him play is a joy. His course strategy and hitting pin high to the proper side for the hole location is fantastic. I really enjoy watching him dissect courses.

Good point and true

I started doing this about 6 years ago. I tested the stock PW against the Vokey on monitors and on the course. I could hit 1/2 and 3/4 shots better with the Vokey and got better spin numbers on all shots. For me, I was also more accurate with the Vokey. Not sure why, but that is how it worked out.

It's time, Pro's (and others) should get relief from divots...

Based on the number of comments and quotes you have posted in the few minutes, I am assuming you are not looking for an honest answer and only looking to get into an internet argument. However, if you do per chance want an honest answer. I play golf 3-4 days a week and play in a tournament twice a month during the season. How many times in a divot during the year - once or twice per month. Usually no issue. In a divot with no chance to legitimately hit the green??? About once per year. Example for you; hit a drive down the middle on a par 5, have about 210-220 into the green. Usually a long iron shot and easy birdie, but it is right in the front edge of a steep divot and you have “no chance” to get the ball on the green (or even near it). You just have to wedge it out about 100 yards and then try to make birdie with your wedge and putter. Guy who is 6” beside you makes an easy birdie to gain a stroke on you. Again, my initial post. I am ok with “rub of the green”, but extend that through the rules. I just do not understand why we are allowed (and the rules have relaxed on these items recently) to remove loose impediments in bunkers, in penalty areas when those are supposed to “penalties” and we can tap down imperfections on the green, but let’s plant a flag in the ground on the guy that hits one down the middle of the fairway and then gets penalized on “rub of the green”. -

These look really good imo. Looks like a mix between the old Red X and the 9. -

I would agree with you if the governing bodies did not cave and allow tapping down of imperfections on the greens, remove loose impediments in a bunker or penalty area, drop a ball in the fairway after hitting OB, etc, etc. I am “old school” and have been playing the game for 45 years. I would be fine with the “play it as it lies” mentality. Suck it up and move on. I just do not understand how this (ball in a divot) is the point that the USGA and R&A dig their heels in. You are supposed to be penalized for hitting into a bunker or penalty area, yet they allow you to move sticks, pinecones or rocks from around your ball, but if you hit it right down the middle of the fairway and end up in a fresh divot from the group ahead and have no way of advancing it to the green, well that’s just “rub of the green”. It just doesn’t make sense. I play competitive golf and know how to hit out of a divot, but there are some times where you just have no chance. -
I agree with you about the grooves. I actually believe that grooves get the ball rolling quicker. However, for years, Scotty has said he does not believe they help. I think this chain link milling is him realizing they do actually help and not admitting he was wrong. ”We do not have grooved face putters. We have putters with chain link milling for enhanced feel”. Yea right.

Does the T150 launch higher with less spin over the T100?

It is interesting that they are rounding the corners of the 9.2 but keeping the corners sharp on the 5.5
