  1. For the 2020 US Am the caddies said that they used primarily Trails and Bandon Dunes. They said Pacific would be too difficult to hold events on if weather picked up.
  2. The entire Oregon coast has tsunami zone warnings in certain areas where the cliffs are lower and thus more prone to issues. As mentioned above the course itself and likely most of the town are in a great spot with the bluffs being so tall. It's the lower areas where the water can flow over that would be in danger. I think last time there was a tsunami warning there, maybe this winter/spring?? the course was closed down for an hour or two so they definitely have a protocol for it.
  3. It's been years since I had them new to remember, but the 10s I have feel a bit large and sloppy now when I wear them, like 9.5s could work. But I've never actually tried 9.5s on. I'm never 10s in regular shoes, only rare odd ball size shoes like the Killshots am I a 10. With Nike's free shipping I'd suggest multiple sizes and just return one, but I know not all buyers have a Nike store local to them for easy returns. Plenty of discussion in the Jordan thread, just hundreds of pages of information to dissect.
  4. Definitely size down. I'm usually a 10.5 and I bought 10s based on info from this site. They do seem to stretch out a little and sometimes I wonder if I could wear a 9.5 in them for a more snug fit.
  5. One of my playing partners sacked his caddie after our first round last year. Not a bad caddie at all, they just didn't vibe the way he'd liked. Not something I would have done, but it wasn't my decision. But his replacement was worse, so there's that...
  6. I'm just about out of my plantar fascitis, having dealt with it for about the past year+. Mine came on slowly last spring, which I attributed simply to my feet feeling tired and sore from being on my feet many more hours than normal in coaching, and likely in bad shoes. Once I realized what was happening it was too late. From the time I started treating it until now has been 12 months, with the first 4 months being the worst. I'd say since the New Year I've been progressing steadily to the point I no longer consider it now but still feel it occasionally. I did not consult a doctor because it wasn't something that hindered my life too much, just more of a nuisance. What was useful, for me, was to be aggressive with it early on. I did the ice treatment nightly, did calf/foot stretches with rubber bands, and even bought an overnight brace similar to a sleeping boot. Once I got to a point where the pain was no longer increasing I was less aggressive and simply let it heal its way back. One of the bigger things for me was changing up my daily shoe rotation. No more nice but uncomfortable work shoes, and was allowed to go to a softer sole which made a ton of difference. I do think getting rid of shoes that are old that have lost their cushion is crucial, as is replacing worn insoles. I realize my case was likely mild, but there is hope. Eventually one day you don't even think about it anymore, and then you realize you're done or almost done. Best of luck to all. It's hard to understand how much you under appreciate simple health until you get to a spot where every step brings pain.
