  1. There's not anything significant to gain there - Qi35 Core has the spin more under control stock than the Dot heads of the Qi10 I went back to my LS head quickly after getting a Dot head - failed experiment. I could have made it work but I had to lower the loft so much on the Dot head that I'd get some occasional very low launch shots and it also wasn't much more forgiving than the LS for me - went back to my LS and was happy again
  2. I watched this video earlier today from James Robinson comparing PXG 0317T to Takomo 101T I couldn't tell if the shafts were comparable but for what it is worth ... looks like the 101T won overall and were pretty similar in terms of dispersion from the on-course review Launch angle is missing from this chart but still good info
  3. Here's the 101T and 201 side by side (6 irons) All pics of the side by side, 101T (left) and 201 (right) 201 have a thicker top line but that all goes away once you hit them. They're forgiving and just as good of feel as any forged CB I've hit, if not better. 101T launch about 2* higher but might spin a touch lower. They still feel very good. I'm having a hard time choosing between them in which to bag, & I have a round with each of them in now and I'll continue to swap them in and out for rounds until I decide. I need to get some more range time in with them and so far, no regrets in purchasing these over anything major OEM - they're both solid.
  4. Did you say you’ve tried the Qi10 core 15° 3w? That launched really high for me and I had a HZRDUS RDX 80 6.5, tipped 1” at 42.75” I gave it to a good friend and he loves it but I hit it so high off the deck or tee where I think it’s a great fit for a lot of players looking for that kind of versatility (easy off the deck and great off the tee)
  5. -Spider ZT - exceeded expectations -Bought heads from Takomo of 201 and 101T - both 4-PW of course - got them shafted up with PX 6.0 (same shaft I got fit for and have had in all prior irons sets going back last several years) So far 201 look to be the new gamers, they both spin pretty low (vs. recent sets - '21 & '23 T100 and '23 P7MB), but I hit the ball very high and 201 launch 2* lower than 101T - all pics, 101T on the left and 201 on the right. Both models have great feel - certainly the 201 are classic buttery soft forged but 101T also feel very good and smooth. Good for good, 201 are flying straighter and 10-15 yards longer than past gamers I mentioned above - they're 2* stronger than what I usually play but also lower spin so combo of those two factors. I need to get more time in with the 101T.
  6. I got the 35" Spider ZT - played first round with it yesterday Last 8 rounds, avg. putts were 1.78 (range was 1.61 to 1.94) Spider ZT first round, lowest I've ever had (=best I've ever putted in my life) with 1.50 (27 putts) It is point and shoot. Prior putters were heel/toe or face-balanced and had intermittent success with all of them especially the heel/toe weighted Spider Copper and most recently the Spider Tour X face balanced / double bend - when I say point and shoot, I certainly had to use more of an arc stroke with heel/toe weighted putters and a bit more straight back / straight through with face-balanced Success with this putter, for me, has come from not thinking about how I take it back, just take it back naturally and putt to the hole or target line and putter does the rest - I was hoping for these results but didn't want to set myself up for disappointment either. Hoping it continues but I don't see how it couldn't - yesterday I made all the putts you would expect to make and then a good 5 or 6 that I made where you hope to make maybe ~30% of mid and long putts. I have a putting green in the backyard and they continue to drop.
