  1. Reading that list from the top makes Brian Manzella look a complete bargain. It was the name John Dunigan at #30 that piqued my interest... I have (or had... i've lost it somewhere) his spiral bound book "The Secret of the Golf Swing" - i'd like to find it - I remember he taught himself to play left handed, which is certainly one way to put yourself in a beginner's shoes again.
  2. The Mini Giant HTX sounds like a good candidate - all the mini giants are popular but the HTX has the alignment you want, it seems. The Pga superstore i’ve been to had quite a few Seemores - i’d guess the htx style is popular so pga ss or golf galaxy would maybe have some to see and try. https://pluggedingolf.com/seemore-black-mini-giant-htx-putter-review/ I’ve picked up a Mini Giant Deep flangeon ebay to setup as counterbalanced [still have an old brass FGP).
  3. Libertyville, near Chicago. May go to Sub70 in Illinois, about hour and a half away… that 859 Pro driver is intriguing.
  4. Am visiting the US next month and am planning to get a combo set of ZXi …. srixon, pga sstore etc won’t allow an order for shipping to Usa with an outside USA billing address so best friend will orde for me… I’m taking advantage of loft jacking by extending my iron gapping slightly to 5 degree gaps between irons - saves an ironin the bag and gaps are good enought for me. So a Zxi4 6iron at 25.5deg (close enough to 25) Zxi5 7iron 1deg strong at 30 Zxi5 8iron 35deg (standard) and both 9 and PW are 1deg strong Zxi7, so 40 and 45deg lofts. Have a 50 deg gap wedge below and a 21deg 7wood at t’other end. Hopefully i like the KBS TGI100 shafts 😉
  5. You do make improvements from the first to the second lesson... so that's good, but i'm definitely in with Virtuoso camp above - i mean using force plates and blingy tech on a beginner is... When you practice, you're not going to have those things, so what feels are you looking for and checking? Even getting a club or orange hwip trainer and turn & swinging back and forwards stood up, swinging the club horizontally to get a feel for the shoulders and hips turning ( a la the old Monte cargo days of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FH5r5_tROU ) - if you then start bending over while swinging back and though, the body should more easily compensate to stay in balance while the hips and shoulders keep turning on a 'natural' plane... Just looks from your lesson your hips are level at end of your backswing which results in problems to swing down to the ball. Best if Monte and other instructors could confirm or not - i could be way off... but looking at pressure plate readouts at your stage of things seems to be missing the point. And it may be something at adress/setup that encourages this hip position.. but that's where the good instructor can guide you to change and feel what needs to be corrected. Or to put it another way - changing the setup or direction of your hip turn or other would be what you need to work on, WHICH THEN results in those pressure readings improving. Just knowing the weight is too forward on your toes is.... ? There's plenty of awful ways to get the weight into the heel.
  6. Looks more like a smooth, progressive wrist hinge to me - certainly not 'little to no wrist hinge' . Seems to time his end of backswing to end of wrist hinge...
  7. Don’t rule out a Seemore Mini Giant deep flange - may have some on the floor to try at a pgass. I found a 39” one on ebay, and a blackout version so i snagged that one already….
