Been a while since I have posted on this thread. Some blade love updates.
first, still gaming my MP 33s. Try others but nothing else is same. Guess I’ve played them so many years they’re ingrained in my golf DNA
next, turned my son, now a college player, to a blade guy when he was in high school. He has a NIL with Titleist and has won two college tournaments playing 620 MBs. He’s setup with DG Tour Issue X100 shafts, plays a D-5 swingweight, has then bent 2* flat and 1 strong. Carries 7 iron 205. He’s angling for the 680s that are limited issue but I think I’d go the new Mizuno S blades.
As my son says, blades hit the launch and spin windows he wants perfectly and turf interaction is exceptional.
