  1. He has been using a Bettinardi w/ the C-Grooves since 2021 (copy of his Tracy II).
  2. I've been contemplating getting a Cally Elyte Max TD, what was the stock shaft that was working...Tensei 1k? Seems like this driver has started to win over a lot of unexpected WRXrs.
  3. You can't go wrong with the Mizzy S-1s or Miura MC-502s. As someone who loves blades (currently MP-18s), I perfer to play the blade through the 5 iron and then go with a slightly stronger and hotter 4 iron...but that is just me. I have never really found going to a muscle cavity in the long irons to be much of a benefit. The Miura MC-502s are certainly blades, but many have found them to be very forgiving, even in the long irons. And I concer. I will actually be getting a set in the next few months, but I don't see myself getting rid of my Mizunos.
  4. I have not hit the Titleist, but I do have a TM Qi10 7 wood (21°). I would be interested in seeing what a heavier shaft would do for you. A 65 gram shaft just seems light for a 7 wood. It is possible you are not maximizing launch and spin and losing distance. You might find a heavier shaft will bring the flight down a touch along with spin and you will pick up that distance you are looking for. I know, unfortunately it is very difficult to find places that have heavier shafts for fairway woods. I currently have an 85 gram shaft in mine and love it. From the fairway it launches high and lands soft. It is very easy to hit from the rough. And the biggest surprise for me was how well it does out of fairway bunkers. It is literally a cheat code out of bunkers. For reference, I am around 108 ss w/ driver and my stock 7 wood is around 220 carry. BTW, I also carry a 4 utility iron (22°) which has similar carry off of the tee, but gets there very differently. I like having a low option for tee balls or windy conditions.
  5. I played the T-Zoid Pro II irons for nearly 4 years and they had that classic Mizuno forged feel for sure; however, the PW was the ugliest shovel of a wedge I had ever seen. The 2 iron stayed in my bag for a very long time, by far my most favorite club.
  6. I love my MP-18s. So pure. The way they transitioned the hosel into the leading edge is probably my favorite of all Mizunos.
  7. Nothing wrong with it. Personally, I usually save those for my driver as the range balls are not always in great shape. I cannot tell you how many balls I have pulled my bag and hit on the range. This was a common practice when I was younger. Though typically they were balls that I had played for a few rounds, maybe a scuff from a cart parts, or back when square grooves were a thing, the ball had chew marks on it. Or I had run out of range balls and I needed to hit more. For those worried about germs....that's funny. All the ranges I go to wash the balls first. Not to mention, the balls are sitting out on the range getting exposed to UV light. I dont know, I grew up during a time in which my parents made us go outside and they locked the doors. We drank water from the garden hose, played in the mud, creeks, swam in the lake, ect. Mom would walk out and set down a plate full of sandwiches, chips, ect and turn around and go back inside and shut the door. I don't remember washing hands too often. I have never even thought about germs on a range ball.....😂
  8. This is one of the main reason Rory switched from the TP5x to the TP5. Distance control (flying the ball too far) was a real concern when he was playing the TP5x as well as inconsistencies with wedge play around the green. It is nice to pick up a 1/2 to full club in distance but not at the sacrifice of distance control and spin around the green. I am down to my last few sleeves of the prior gen Tour X, hopefully the new one isn't too much of a difference.
  9. To me, both of those putters look nearly the same. And if it is truly boiled down to those two, and you don't like the way they look, I'd spend the least amount of money. That being said, have you eliminated the possibility that your head position has not creeper in one direction or the other? Certainly eye dominance plays a significant role in aligment, but head position can exacerbate or even imitate eye dominance. I have occasional issues with my upper back/should blade on my left side and it pulls on my neck. This causes my head to slightly lean and twist to my left side. I did not notice this until I was watching a video (face on) of my swing as I was also having some issues with hitting some shots left that I felt were good swings. At the same time I was struggling a bit on the greens, particularly from short range. Low and behold, it was all stemming from this subtle change in my head position which was also pulling my shoulders out of alignment. I now check this quite often. Video and putting mirrors are such great tools to use.
  10. My tee game sets the tone for my round. Rarely will I post a good number when I am having a bad day off the tee. So for me it would be driver.
  11. A re-release of the OG design with lofts of 18°, 21°, and 24° would be phenomenal.
  12. I think I'd have to agree with Paul and Brandel....Keegan needs to have the conversation with him and see how he responds with his play over the playoffs. Need to light a fire and see if he can set a blaze or does it fizzle out.
  13. If I did this at my place of work I would have been arrested and charged with destruction of private property, which depending on the value could be a misdemeanor or felony. As well as loss of job.....just saying.
  14. 1. City, State? Powhatan, VA 2. Handicap? 0 3. What is your current wedge setup? 58.10, 52.09, 46 PW 4. Which RTZ wedges would you like to test? (Tour Satin, Black, or Tour Rack) Tour Rack 5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges? It's time for new wedges. It's been a long time since I have played Cleveland wedges and would love to try them out. 6. Are you willing to do an in-depth written review, with high quality photos, and future updates? Absolutely
