  1. All over? Wife kinda shifted the agreement we had when we bought (it would be a few years before spending any great amount of time there) by saying "I think I want to be down there all winter this year." &^%$ So, in that regard, I haven't even given any looking/'thought to "joining anywhere" yet.
  2. I've played maxflis for the past few years. I bought each a box of the Mizzy Pro S and X. I love the S more than the X and have been playing them for the past couple months. I also bought a box of new ProV1xs this week, had a round monday afternoon where out a greenside bunker on the 5th hole the cover got shredded enough to take the ball out of play. Next hole, another greenside bunker, even more of a shredded cover. $10 on 2 holes is not worth it. Sure, miss the bunkers. 😉 I haven't had that happen with Maxflis or Mizuno Pros, or Snells.
  3. And snell cover durability when taylormade bought the plant forcing dean to find a new supplier, and other things. Attacking someone over a post of fact? Not a good look and gives this forum a 'reputation' of bullies. It cracked. Titlest wants to look at it. Why is this the posters fault?
  4. "Is it solely centered around "intent" and "definition of a stroke?" " Ok. Yes it is. Figured as much but wanted to be sure.
  5. If the ball moved through the action of swinging a club near the ball, and the player accepts that it moved and saying "oops, ok, that's a stroke".... why is there a penalty for playing it at it's new spot (again, if the player accepts that it moved and before hitting it from where it now lays)? Is it solely centered around "intent" and "definition of a stroke?" I've had my share of duffs where the ball barely moved.... counting that shot, why would someone be penalized for hitting it from the new place, fully accepting the ball moved somewhat?
  6. Have a house in HH Plantation. Good there. 😉
  7. I was in two different greenside bunkers yesterday and after each shot, the 2025 PV1x I was playing had to be cycled out. Not huge slicing swings to get out, but the ball was unplayable after each shot. Never had this issue with the Maxflis
  8. Giving my notice at work today that I am retiring in Sept. Head down Oct. for the month, and then back here for Nov/Dec and then.... pretty much staying there. Looking forward to it.
  9. It's many times solved by telling the slow player they are slow, why they are slow and if no fix, uninvited. Explain that your group of guys require fast play. Anyone not being fast, out (as a rule, not because you're not a cool guy to be with). We also have a 2 stroke penalty applied to the group that turns in the card more than 17 min behind the group before them. When you explain this to the slow player, that they are the reason others are getting dinged, most get and will either not play, or pick up the pace. (if they are not so self absorbed, meaning if they're too self absorbed.... out). On the other side, the other players also not to be so self absorbed to occasionally assist the slower guy, not all the time though.
  10. Yep. It's a wonderful course.
