I installed an adapter not realizing the plug was missing, let alone that there's a thin plug. It turned out fine. I have been using the 5 min set and 30 min cure time epoxy and I use a wooden kabob skewer to apply on the inner walls of the adapter and on the walls of the tip to minimize the amount of epoxy that goes up into the shaft. The plug is about the size of the hole in a shaft tip, and there's a ledge in the adapter that about the diameter of the shaft walls, which is why I didn't notice the issue on the first shaft I installed.

It's not hard to keep the screw and threads clean.

This little tin plate that sits in the bottom of a Titleist tip I pulled came out. Seems unnecessary. Can I leave it out of a shaft install?

Have you tried Blue+ 5X?

I have the Ventus Black+ 5S. I'm looking to get a touch more feel in the load. I feel like the Blue+ 5S will be too soft in the mid section for me, how does the Blue+ 5X compare?

The og Ventus Blue and TR in 6S felt a bit too soft in the mid section. Is the new 2024 Ventus Blue Velocore Plus in 5S more stable?
