It was a netflix release. I see that the same as "released on video" back in the 80's so expectations weren't that big for me. I liked it for what it is, a small distraction from the daily routine. Loved the cameos, thought JD was funny and thought Willy turning out to be his caddy from 96 was worth a laugh. It's the kind of thing to watch when there isn't much else going on which describes the evening I watched it. I doubt I'll watch it again but I enjoyed it for what it was. YMMV.

Wow! My wife and I enjoyed it, I also enjoyed a few home brews while watching it. I'm trying to think of the worst movie I've ever seen... Maybe the original "Blob". The original MST3K had some really bad flicks they made fun of.

I'm not watching it this time, too many bad vibes and I can't get into the team "us against them" thing with golf anymore.

Haven't played since November 2024. Taking the season off this year to let my body heal up (it seemed like something was always injured the last few seasons). The longer I stay away the less I miss playing. I went through something similar about 10 years ago, just lost interest in playing and practicing but the interest came back after a few years off. I haven't bought a club or spent any money on golf for the year to date. I plan to start golfing again at the end of the year or beginning of next year.

I have a feeling that winning on the big stage is habit forming. The endorphin rush must be indescribable and make everything right with the world for a short while and drive the quest for more wins.

Maybe they should make the #1 golfer start at+5 to make it a fair fight and more "exciting". Lol.

I'm confused on why it's a big deal to them. They left for something they thought was a better version of professional golf so why not have their own majors? You know, club championships but louder.

To me golf is about all of the tournaments. Do you only watch the majors?

Never mind.

That's bold. We will have to come back in 10 years and see what happened.

The article I read said something about the NFL wanting the move due to declining early season football ratings. In any case I like it better the way it was.
