  1. Just switched into a GT3 from a TSi3 a few months ago. Main reason I was in the market for a new driver is that I needed to swap out the one in the bag I keep at my parents place and figured I’d slot the tsi3 into the backup and the new one into the daily use bag. Same shaft and everything. I don’t think there is much between the heads from a performance perspective assuming proper fit. I ended up needing to loft up 1° to get into the same numbers. Despite the more forward CG I found mishits just as if not slightly more stable on the GT3. Ball speed on mishits maybe a little better. Good strikes gave identical results. GT3 feels much better IMO. TSi3 on mishits, even slight mishits, could feel a bit metallic and harsh. GT3 is more muted but still has that crisp explosive titanium face feel. As someone who is neither a fan of the muted carbon feel nor a loud tinny impact sound, I think Titleist made the best feeling driver ever with the GT series. So that’s a great perk, but performance wise not a serious upgrade assuming good fit I don’t think.
  2. I’ve not found anything that has that same swing feel. Pretty unique profile in the ZF with the distinct mid kick and stable tip and stiff handle
  3. This thread makes for some hysterical reading. Lot of delusional people here on both sides. It is just as absurd to posture that a scratch male golfer is the tournament equal of even the bottom decile of the LPGA as it is to say that a scratch golfer could never beat an LPGA player in a single round. No stranger to competitive rounds and I’ve also played with professional golfers of both genders. I’ve played as low as a +2, dabbled in collegiate golf, but now hover a little over scratch. I’d bet the house on both the following scenarios: Me vs the top 10 LPGA players across 1,000 individual competitive rounds in a mix of setups and conditions - I will beat one player in one round. Even the best have blowup rounds here and there. Given a large enough sample size (I would not make this bet at 500 rounds), eventually one of their bad days will match against one of my better days and I won’t be dead last in the group. I will never win the day, but one day I won't be dead last. Me vs the bottom 10 LPGA players across 10 cumulative competitive rounds in a mix of setups and conditions - I will absolutely come dead last and I don't expect the last round to be remotely competitive in terms of me not coming dead last.
  4. I think the VF is probably the best whiteboard since the og whiteboard. Not a monster to load, even in a weight / stiffness that’s a bit of a reach for me. At cruising speed it never feels like rebar and even when I really aggressively get after one it feels very stable. Such a neutral shaft, it doesn’t ask you to do anything and it’s not going to do anything for you what you put into it is what’s gonna come out. Graphite design has a real winner here. I’ve also been using the UB in my fairways for the last couple months. Very similar, but with some more action, of course never feel like they’re gonna get away from me and it’s a very predictable load and unload. They remind me of the DG X100, smooth, and yet seemingly not capable of being overpowered, unless you are a real animal.
