Yep, just type in car boot sale UK into YouTube and watch ha ha. You can get all sorts...but golf clubs definitely around usually. I got lucky with a mizuno hybrid...most of time the clubs are junk. But its the search I like....my Mrs more interested in plants

Im away in the south east of England on the coast (very beautiful scenery btw) and I just popped to a Sunday car boot sale....just bought a newish 23 degree muzuno clk hybrid....for £4 🤣 headcover included! That's going into bag and replacing my 4 iron, which has been on my mind. So I think Im really sorted for captains weekend this coming weekend...weather looks good as well this weekend too. But I do love a good car boot sake, so British 😀

From an article years back from this thread. If you read from the start you'll see chick Evans name appear and a famous quote from Bobby jones about chick only using 7 clubs. He made a book, was a top amateur his whole life, and a huge supporter of caddies and created a foundation for caddies that went into apprenticeships. I think he holds the record for most appearances in the US amateur championships. But I found him to be fantastic character to read up on...won the us open and us amateur in same year...that's some feat.

Chick Evans won the us open with 7 clubs....he never used anything else. Have a feeling tour pros would shoot great scores with 7 clubs. In fact some probably would love it, back to golf's roots so to say

Probably my driver as I ditched it as it, as I hit it about 3 foot off ground. So most important now without doubt is my 14 degree 3 wood, made my golf much easier.....my putter thou, be knackered without it 😀

Yeah, I use ping eye 2s....4 is at 24 degree 6 at 30 8 at 40 pw at 50....seems to gap well on balanced distances

Traditional lofts solves this, older pings work a treat....4,6,8,pw to sw in Traditional lofts has a solid gaping. Worth thinking about
