  1. Finally got it. Near boiling water. *For the record I completely understand why they don't want regular customers tinkering with the weights. That being said, rolling a handful of putts with two less 2.5g weights in the head feels incredible. I can hold the putter with much less grip pressure. A big reason for wanting to do it myself was simply to test the specific lighter overall weight. If you send it into lab, you are purely guessing on what weight you want.
  2. I have project x LZ shafts in my zxi7 & zforged ii combo set. They've been very good. Penetrating yet enough spin to hold firm greens. I'm building a set of mp64's with the same shafts soft stepped once to compare. Either way, one or the other should be good for me. Really happy with the performance of this shaft with both iron heads.
  3. Their various models of polo shirts offered quite a few different combinations of materials. Haven't decided yet which one is my favorite but it was nice getting some cotton mixes. Seems like the majority of my polo collection over the past 10 years were only Poly. The cotton/poly mix really sounds like the best of both worlds, soft and breathable but not wrinkly or massive shrinkage. Really relieved they discontinued the sale, I don't think I would have stop buying more otherwise.
  4. I can only imagine how many more RTZ wedges Cleveland would have sold if they had inventory and fast delivery times. It's the first wedge to knock my vokey out of the bag. Does anybody know if the nickel/dark finish will rust or not? Also wonder if the finish can be removed to raw, like the black vokey?
  5. Looks good! I do wish they'd send tracking numbers.
  6. I know a lot of hard work went into getting to this stage, so congrats on getting your big payday. 👏 Going forward, would really like to get apps (android and apple). Thank you and congrats again!
  7. I'll usually take the premium ball and donate it to the nearest lake. What can I say, it's important to give back.
  8. So confused why he didn't just hit into the slow group in front of him like so many others do.
  9. I was only going off of the last couple of youtube tours I watched based on their manufacturing process. I would assume they'd be bringing the cnc'd heads in from multiple sources at that volume.
  10. So one of the differences that will come out of this is right now Lab only had 1 cnc machine (i think, that could have changed recently) that was primarily used for R&D. They were outsourcing the production of the machined heads from local cnc machine shops. I expect that to change. They will likely invest in a bunch of cnc machines to do the production of the heads in house. Typically these cnc machines range somewhere between $250k-$1/mil each so it takes a big investment to bring that in house. Just as easily, they could choose to source the machined parts from china in bulk. White rust on the aluminum would become a major concern if they went that route. Yes, they would obviously try to remove that and then paint them but often times it impacts the quality of the paint job and really impacts the quality of the finish of the putter long term. So this would be an example of a decline in quality if they were to go through China.
  11. The weights use a standard torque wrench which is nice BUT they are definitely glued or something in there because they weren't budging when I tried to remove a couple of them. Wondering if using a hair dryer then trying again would work? It's always tough when you really like the setup but it's simply a few grams too heavy in the head, which then requires a firmer grip pressure than I'd prefer.
  12. I know that small crew at Lab was grinding it out for years, so I'm glad they got paid. They deserve it.
  13. Looks like they officially pulled the plug on this 50% code today unfortunately. Was a good run.
