  1. Have you tried the FDI heads. No wonder you don't like the IST after playing that Adams.
  2. Those look great but that PVD finish turns bad quick.
  3. You might want to call yo see if the older versions are in the warehouse somewhere. They were quite a bit stiffer.
  4. I cant get along with the TS3 heads at all. No matter what I do. TS4... I'm happy with those.
  5. That Score is more than likely the source of super high and spinny.
  6. What shaft is in the TS4 6i? What shaft is in the 5h?
  7. Thanks. Thats fairly reasonable for size. I'll order a few.
  8. Some great reading on that post. Love it.
  9. Does anyone have the IST Hybrid head covers? How bulky are they? Hoping for something on the very thin side, maybe even neoprene. Not sure i wanna go vintage knitted but may have to.
  10. That is some great thinking. Did you have to bend the hosel much to get the proper face angle?
  11. Btw the RTi is amazing as a Hybrid shaft.
  12. So during my hybrid 'transition'.... I wanted to just start out with the 3 IST, 20° and 6 IST, 29°. I have not reached for my 4 or 5 iron since those two hit the bag. I have been able to dial up or down and get those clubs to fill some giant gaps. I think the 4, 6 combo would be even better, maintaining a steadier swing to control distances. Keeping the 4 and 6 IST in the bag would allow an extra wedge or maybe a 7 wood. My biggest fear was a bounding ball into a green that wouldn't stop. With the added height the IST give me, stopping power is excellent. As a side note the flight of these is very straight. Yet its easy to hit a giant draw from under a tree limb or slide a fade into a tucked pin. I only have 4 rounds with these, I'm continually in awe of how versatile they have been. I'll complete the bag with the 4 and 5, but I'm not convinced it necessary to carry them all.
  13. I do not have a picture comparing it against anything else. I do have a Cobra T-rail at the house and its very similar in size. There is a very generous sole radius toe to heal. This allows the club to get down into the rough, or as stated perfectly pick a ball out of a bunker. To a purist the size may certainly be off putting. I for one wasn't thrilled dropping it in the bag. But good lord does it perform way better than expected. This picture gives a good view of that radius.
  14. There is a nice surprise in the package when it arrives.
  15. I am playing the KE4 Max and quite frankly if I take them out of the bag I'd be nuts. The Max 7i is 30°. The IST 6 is 29°. I carry the 7i 155-162. But can easily step that up. The 6h is 165-170. So it naturally fit right in. There are so many intangibles with the 6h. I made crazy shots with that club all week. Tee box, rough, sidehill-uphill lie. The very last shot of the week to save par and keep a 78 or better score going for the week, was a fairway bunker on 18. Lip on the bunker, ,playing 185 uphill. Any one who knows me would bet I'd leave that in the bunker lip. I hate fairway bunkers. I took a rip with the 6h to 20' from the flag. No way I'm making that shot with a 6i... no way!.
