Last Saturday Lydia Pense and Cold Blood were to perform in Palo Alto for a free concert. We've seen them in person a couple of times and they put on a really good show! Unfortunately when the announcer came on to announce the band he just said Cold Blood. When they started performing we didn't see Lydia at all, in fact during the entire concert Lydia wasn't present. After the concert when we were walking to our car my wife saw a member of the band and asked what happened to Lydia and they told us the Lydia had a heart issue again and was in the hospital. We felt so bad for her and we hope that she fully recovers. In case you don't know who Lydia is she has a powerful voice and I believe in the late 60's Janice Joplin introduced Lydia to Bill Graham and he asked Lydia to audition for Cold Blood and the rest is history. We saw him in concert several years ago and it was great! I know that you and your sweetie will have a great time!
