Might sound crazy to some, but more of an upright lie angle helps me hit a fade. I like to start more left and let it fall right. Also, my swing tends to be a little more over the top than flat. So the lie angle helps.
Some other things that have helped me:
- building up my grip with more tape on the lower hand
- weight in the toe
- cut my woods short with more weight in the head
- shaft that I can feel some load. If the shaft is more stiff and boardy I tend to turn it over more.
However, ymmv. These are some things that have worked really well for me over the years.
