Total BS. The pga tour has tons of YouTube content. They could have come up with something. They chose to not try. More of the same dumb crap they do where the pga tour struggles to get out of its own way to grow its audience.

Well then the sponsor felt he was good for their investment. Either way, somebody somewhere saw that he brings value to them. Yall keep acting like he was the benefactor of the invite when it was the other way around. They wanted him to bring his audience to their event.

Yet the tour invited that rando to play in their tournament because they wanted to attract his audience.

The tournament invited him. So clearly he was important enough for them to ask him to play in their tournament. The only reason they invited him was because of his YouTube presence, so it seems to me that the pga tour is making a stupid decision to not capitalize on the very thing that got him invited. They wanted his viewers to watch their tournament, yet they weren’t going to let him use that content to bring his viewers to the tournament. From everything I’m reading Grant doesn’t need to donate his time to help promote the pga tour. That’s not going to benefit him in anyway.
