They are fantastic. I was half expecting them to just slap the Sal uppers on a Vibram/Malbon sole, but that is definitely not the case. They are slightly narrower, and slightly shorter than the normal Sals. The heel cup is different. And where the Sals are really flat and perfect for skateboarding, these have a bit of concave to the foot bed to make them feel much more planted for rotational force. It's definitely an actual proper golf shoe. I absolutely love em.

Wondering if anyone here is like me and has loved the original Sal's since the mid 90's. They were my primary skate shoe in my teens and 20's, and I've snagged a pair here and there on the re-releases (except for the '08/'14 In4mation collabs that were pretty horrid IMO). Got the newsletter yesterday about a spikeless/nubs golf shoe based on the OG's and instantly snagged a pair of the black/white without even second guessing it. Almost picked up a pair of the white/green too, but times have been rough lately. I was part of the group last year, and wanted to chime in with just a quick update now that I have a book for every course I regularly play and more time with them. In short, I don't like playing courses that I don't have a book for anymore. They are that good. This year I started using a little bit of AimPoint on longer putts, and having the actual slope measurements almost feels like cheating. I'm 2 strokes better a round than I was at this time last year, into the + side for the first time in my life. That's it really. Buy these books. They are fantastic.
