Long Beach and renting clubs….since it’s not an overly serious golf situation, I’d just play Trump in the afternoon one day and then potentially an Orange County course the other day. as somebody already said and I will second it, Stawberry Farms is doable at anytime of day. Pelican in the late afternoon would be in range as others have said. Pelican late might be good cause it will give you some time to drive and make your way down the PCH and take in the scene a little. Seal Beach, Huntington Beach and then into Newport Beach. US Open of Surfing is going on right now so plenty of cool stuff going on in HB to fill your day pre-pelican if you choose. Then just hit the 405 back to LB after your round.

I think I’d rather play summer golf in the desert than summer golf on the Texas Coast, the entire state of Louisiana, Miss, Alabama and most of Florida. Throw in pretty much any state that an SEC team plays in for good measure. 😂 A dry hot is indeed a much more comfortable hot.

Played some golf around Omaha before. Several good courses. Not nine holes though. why is 9 holes a requirement?

Everywhere in the Caribbean totally sucks for golf. Argentina would be awesome but I have no clue what the reception would be like for someone parking for 3 months to play their course 6 days a week at most courses. There’s some really golden era amazing golf down there. Watch the No Laying Up video on Argentina from a few months ago. They cover all of the hits. I don’t recall which of the good courses are public/daily fee but there are some. You should probably keep in mind that most less developed countries see golf as a luxury that is attached to resorts and tourism which is most of thems lifeline. Therefore not cheap. I haven’t been in over ten years but puerto Vallarta at one time had some daily fee courses that were ok. Quality was not great but there were a few options. You might need to tamp down your list of expectations. It’s seems like some of what you want may be in the cards at some places. All of what you want is probably available at zero places. Bryson, Rickie, and Hideki have had a pretty incredible tournament. Makes it seem like Rory, Fitz, Xander, etc. have just been sort of trying to hard all week. 😂

He probably won’t be relevant/competitive enough to compete in the US Open next time it’s at Oakmont anyway. Guy stumbled into his first US Open win and has hardly performed with any consistency since. The pebble beach win was a shortened week fluke.

I actually love it. I love the SC goofy covers. Like the crawfish Cam Smith still uses from the Zurich several years ago. i think it’s a fun gag, and he probably makes a pretty good chunk of change from the limited release in like one week. Enough to make payroll and some. 😂
