Yes they play standard size - Word of caution is it is very tough to put extra tape wraps under the grips - the instructions say so and it is absolutely true. I ignored it and put one extra wrap on and it took everything to get it on...

We have a guy in our group that plays red a bunch of the time and nobody can see them in the air and can hardly see them until you get up closer. White, yellow or green are seen much much easier... -
