  1. I prefer Gap to match set. Wind up with a lot of full swing shots from this distance at my home course. JPX 925 Forged Gap has been phenomenal for full shots, and have started using it for chip shots sometimes instead of 53* wedge.
  2. I am really impressed by the JPX 925 Forged irons!
  3. 1) 2023 Cobra King Tour iron set; 4-P. KBS $ Taper 120 S shafts. Standard L/L/L. 5-P were regripped with Golf Pride Tour Velvet standard and 4 still has Lamkin Crossline. Keeping for now. 2) Callaway Apex 21 iron set; 4-P. TT Elevate ETS 115 stiff flex shafts. Standard L/L/L. GP MCC plus 4 grips. TRADED 3) Callaway Rogue ST Max iron set; 5-P TT Elevate MPH 95 Regular flex shafts. Golf Pride CP2 grips. $OLD shipped CONUS.
  4. For those playing or planning on playing the X Forged, what will you be doing for the A/G wedge spot at or around 50*? I like that club to be part of the set but doesn't appear that is an option unfortunately....Tried the Opus wedges and didn't get along with them. My 54* is still Vokey SM7, would like the 50* to be a little more forgiving on full shots. Seems like a miss that they didn't decide to to a 50* wedge in the X Forged.
  5. Haven’t had enough time to give a fair comparison yet.
  6. Through the 6 iron I think there is only one degree loft difference - starts getting wider from 7 down. They do play a little longer but just left me pin high. I might weaken 7-G one degree. I also have a set of KT 4-P and CB 9/P and MB Gap that I will rotate in. Will be interesting to see how they compare. Early feedback is that I REALLY like the sole design on the 925 Forged. Especially for conditions that I play. Around the green the 925 Gap wedge is phenomenal.
  7. I picked up a set of JPX 925 Forged on here with C Taper lite shafts - jury still out on the shafts for my game - but the clubs look great, feel fantastic and really perform. Shot 75 first time out with them and they were really easy to get comfortable with. Play at a course that becomes hardpan in the summer on certain holes where the sun bakes, and the lie then becomes super thin. This is typically where I struggle with irons, I was able to go down and get those shots today with no problem...The sole on these just works better for me on those lies than the ZX product has.
  8. So many releases in the last few months I don't see how any iron is going navigate all the competition and genuinely come out ahead.
