The boundary line is straight up from the OB stakes or line. If your ball is on the course side, it is in bounds. Touching something that extends OB does not matter. All depends on where the ball is.

You can make it Ryder Cup style, but play medal play, if you want medal winners each day. Assuming 6 vs 6, best 5 scores of 6 man team count for team total, Best ball of partners, Singles match. You can forget having 2 teams for trip and have daily tournaments. BB of partner, best 2 of 4, etc.

If you are talking about this July, some courses are having problems related to odd weather with cool spring and periods of little or lots of rain , keeping overseed around longer, slowing the bermuda takeover. In July, you also have to look for green aeration dates.

I think most would vote Baywood a better course, but may cost more and be a longer drive, depending where you are driving from.

It's not saturation. During peak package season, locals have some trouble getting tee times. In off season, locals know the courses you listed are not maintained well, so play others. Big Cats is said to be a divorce issue with the owner. Leopard's Chase is getting good reports now. The Pearl has been getting good reports. Oyster Bay is a Legends run course, but it's leased, so seems to be the reason for less maint. Brick Landing has never been popular and hardly gets package play. It keeps going down hill, so golfers know to stay away. I think part of it's issues is too tight and too many holes not suited for a driver. Thistle, River Hills, Glen Dorn, Crow Creek, SPB, RE are taking the business from those that don't maintain as well.
