  1. I have a '22 Mazda 3 hatch. One bag can fit in the trunk IF driver and 3 wood are pulled out and under the bag on a diagonal. Otherwise, yes, seats need to be folded down or clubs on the back seats entirely. So, there's at least an option if you only have one bag in the car and don't want them visible.
  2. They looove when people hit a fairway and get screwed by a divot. Double glee when they get to deliver the "play it as it lies" monologue they've been saying a million times since before the internet existed.
  3. I didn't say the divot people feel miserable. I said they're miserable to deal with. In my experience they're gleeful about this stuff happening.
  4. The folks against relief from divots strike me like the most miserable people to deal with on basically anything ever. Oh no, golf will be fractionally easier when people aren't screwed because they happened to hit the ball where someone else did yesterday. Oh no, someone will have to craft some words to define divot and fairway like with basically ever other thing in golf and sports. The world will end. Between this and the nonsense about nerfing the ball it's high time for golf to have a second rulemaking body for people who aren't hardwired ancients.
  5. I've been playing the G400s for years. Zero desire to replace them. They replaced a set of i3s from ~2001 that were quite worn out at the end. I see tons of 5, 10, 15 year old Ping stuff in bags at my club. People seem to buy Ping irons and play them forever.
  6. Too early for the Tiger / Jack discussion but it's hard not to think Scheffler wins a few more over the next couple years. You can't predict when the next truly elite talent or two pops up and starts winning some majors. The potential golf ball change looms large too. It's hard not to think there will be winners and losers when that happens.
  7. I've been playing a 54D for a decade (with a 58D above it). I think the first was an SM5(?), I just order a new one whenever the grooves are cooked. Whatever the difference in models has been negligible. For me, it's great so long as the turf isn't totally dried out. I play in New England so that's rare. I suspect if I played in, let's say Texas, I would be carrying something with less bounce. Did you look at the S? Roughly, it's sort of middle ground between the F and D. With all that said... I'm not sure I would write off a wedge after one bad day either. Or would have moved away from a wedge that worked in the first place. Or would use anything but the shafts I'm used to used. But I really hate changing shafts in irons/wedges more than clubheads.
