Sad day today.. made my yearly treck out to play mara hills as I love to get out there a few times a season
Seems the new ownership and new management have fired the grounds crew
That was horrific.. the tee boxes hadn't been repaired in a week from the looks of it
They just moved the blocks back and never removed the divot material or filled anything in
I emptied my sand container on the 3rd tee box... bunkers were concrete.. we had a laugh as I walked into the first bunker and I didn't make any marks with my feet
Raking was out of the question lol
Some of the fairways were very soggy.. I know they do have drainage issues.
Perhaps they should water a little less 🤔
Sad as it's always been a favourite gem
First talking rock burns and now mara hills is in the gutter
I can't bring myself to pay 180 to play the Okanagan club 😫
Shuswap national this weekend and salmon arm next week I guess
