i second that, my thin misses with the T100 have been SUPER forgiving so far

I think a lot of people will be surprised by how forgiving the T100s are. I went in thinking for sure I would’ve been fit into T250, or at least T150… the forgiveness difference was pretty minimal between 100 and 150, but I had much better control with the 100. Also, the t250s just felt too bulky for me after flushing it with the 100.

so for those of you who are curious: first outing with new irons for 9 holes was AWESOME. these t100s are LEGIT! AMAZING distance control, so workable. hit a nice 7i draw around a tree from the rough to protected green and held it (would've never worked with my old 7i). but it's not all glorious. i'm working on a swing change with my coach (getting shallower), and now i've totally Fd up my driver and mini-driver swing. 5w was good enough to play, though--about 225y off the tee. distance gaps are pretty good at top of bag: ~275 carry driver, 250 mini driver, 225 5w, ~200y 4i (off tee). i hit the t250 4i a couple times--haven't been able to get the full ~200y carry i need from it every time but i'm sure i'll get there. only clubs i didn't hit were 5i/6i which kind of makes sense.

Well, this might have been more based on me telling the fitter that I almost never hit my 3W off the deck, and that it hasn't been safer than driver off the tee. I wouldn't say my GT280 is 15-20 shorter. In the single range session I've had so far with both, I was getting average 275y carry with the driver and probably about 245y with the mini-driver. But biggest difference is that I'm confident in backing off to mini-driver... it used to be hard to mentally commit to my 3w on 1 or 2 tee shots in a full round because i barely used it. don't have that same problem w/the mini-driver.

i made the jump from 52/56/60 to 50/54/58 and love it! i never liked the big gap between PW and 52*. i was worried bc i almost exclusively used me 56 around the greens, but now it's nice bc i use the 54 and 58 around the greens a lot. just have more options.

well, i'm coming from ping g425s which look like a cruise ship! lol so i had a bit of the opposite problem, just felt a little nervy standing over a t100 4i... the bulkier head in the 4i at least gave me more confidence putting a good swing on it. also, i don't need super amazing shot shaping with my 4i, and can usually afford a hot one etc at that distance. if it makes you feel any better, cameron young plays a t350 3i. will zalatoris seems to have used a T350 3i in the bag at some point. and TONs of them seem to have a T200 3 or 4i in the bag. (not that we should be comparing ourselves to tour pros lol)

same! my irons come tomorrow and i've just been agonizing over whether i made the right choice seeing all these t250 orders! lol i just gotta have confidence in the fitting process and trust that we chose what works best for me.

seeing a lot of cool blended orders here... like t250 longest iron then 150 longer irons then 100. interestingly, my fitter didn't really see me hit it much better with the 150 than the 100. i almost went full t100 4i-pw but felt better with the t250 in 4i so went with that. makes me think the forgiveness gap between the 150 and the 100 is narrowing.

whew, FINALLY shipped!

ugh, i did the tpi fitting and ordered most of my stuff through them... still don't have my clubs yet. although, they did send me my woods and most wedges early upon request! it's just t250 2* weak, and t100 1* weak so nothing super customized. modus 105x.
