My buddy brought his kid over from Canada for the Scottish Open 2 weeks back. Justin Rose was amazing and signed and talked to his kid. Justin Thomas went out of his way to ignore the kid. Moral of the story? Absolutely nothing. For every story about a pro being amazing with kids or fans, there is one where they were a dick. I imagine there are countless people on here who would say JT was amazing with them and their kids. Every pro has good/bad days or is in a hurry and can't sign for a reason. A fleeting moment with a pro is not an indictment on their character, good or bad. So to say Scheffler didn't interact in the way you wanted means literally nothing with regards to who they are as a person.

No one is stopping you from moving it out of a divot in your rounds with your buddies, my dude. Fill your boots. You can be the president of the new governing body. Some of us prefer to follow the rules of golf and play it as it lies. You do you.

I'd be very interested in seeing a Venn diagram of the people calling Scheffler boring and those that love Grant Horvat and blame the big bad PGA for not letting him film at the 'Cuda. Might be a damn near perfect circle.

Really a pretty very bad and not so good 2025 showing by the LIV guys in the majors. No bueno. I know that if LIV guys had won 2 or 3 or 4 majors this thread would be unbearable with the LIV shills gloating. I can't help but giggle every time they show Rory's bodyguard. Guys like a rather large Ed Sheeran. He's my favourite. Gotta find something to be entertained with when Thanos Scheffler is dominating like this. He is inevitable.

And as an aside, Hastings, the Cayman Islands kid, flew from Oakmont after winning low-am to Edmonton, AB as he was hoping to catch the Edmonton Oilers playing game 7 of the Cup finals at home (didn't happen sadly). And so lo and behold I am teeing off on 1 on Wednesday and he's heading up to our range to hit some balls before he plays our course. Wild stuff.
