Reshaft them. I loved my 24 CBs, felt they weren’t the most forgiving, but was able to easily work them up down, draw fade. Havent tried the io, but there is nothing wrong with those heads.

You can try adding weight to the grip end. That could help balance it better.

Hopefully they don't hire a former Odyssey employee and start making ugly striped putters with crappy inserts...

Hi all, Have a couple items for sale. Did my best with the pictures. Please message me directly if you're interested. Beautiful Scotty Cameron Oval Track Newport. 34" length, not sure of loft/lie specs. Pictures tell the story. Includes original head cover pictured. My understanding is the Oval Track model was produced towards the end of the carbon steel era at the request of tour players. If asking price is met, including an extra red Scotty Cameron grip. NOT $OLD Bundle - Scotty Cameron Club Cameron 24 cover in used condition, used Lucky Clover mallet cover, brand new divot multi tool, 15g Odyssey weights, and 3 Cobra weights 6g, 8g, 10g. NOT $OLD No trades. PayPal G&S only, will ship out same business day east coast time as payment made. Thank you

Washing a scotty Cameron putter cover
KGolfCT replied to neath2nd's topic in Golf Bags/Carts/Headcovers
Careful, the SC cult is not far from Jonestown. Don't clean it and forget this ever happened. -
https://www.carlsgolfland.com/cobra-ultralight-pro-stand-bag So much better than the Players 4. No club tangle in the top opening where you put your woods and putter, Players 4 is pretty small for the top opening. Same weight. Players 4 has a reputation for the colors to fade quickly and the legs to droop.

Totally doable. Understanding that by keeping the heavier weights, it may take time to get distance control dialed in. You might have trouble with delicate putts, down hill on fast greens, etc. I play on fast greens and the CB set up didn't work for distance control on putts inside 10-15 feet, was hitting them too firm and adjusting my stroke for it just didn't feel right. I'd recommend picking up some aftermarket weights (Amazon?), 10g weights would probably get you to 350g. That way you can try the different feel. If you like a heavier putter, you can keep the stock weights on it and put a weight in the grip to counterbalance it. Bit of a rabbit hole for sure. But once you find that sweet spot, you'll be good to go.

A while ago I was able to pick up a brand new 2025 LV H1 with the Diamana for under $600. It's automatic, such a great set up. The Scotty 9.2R is a really nice putter, but it couldn't kick the LV out of the bag. Getting older and getting better at listening to common sense, as much as I love the tour looks of the Scotty, gotta stick with what works.

Rolled the new chain milling from the Phantom Black Camerons. Direct comparison against a 2025 and First Run Las Vegas. Cameron chain milling on the solid body was the firmest. Still very nice, but the 2025 Toulon felt better, a little softer, but not mushy like an insert. First run is somewhere in the middle.

Had a chance to roll one today. So, unfortunately I was able to roll it head to head against a Toulon Las Vegas First Run and a 2025 Las Vegas, (full disclosure, I've owned a handful of Toulon's and feel they may be the best club/company on the market). I say unfortunately because the 9.2R is a really nice putter, but I would pick either of the Toulon's over the 9.2R. Visually I think the size and shape is perfect, and it's very cool to have a tour inspired head shape with the plumbers neck. The alignment line, the super deep black finish, it looks great. But... The face milling. It's nice, like I stated above. If I didn't have the Toulon's to compare it to I would rate it very high, especially in that it's not an insert face. Both of the Toulon's put a better roll on the ball and the feel was also better. Feel is subjective right? For me the Toulon's were slightly softer, all of them give good feedback on strike location. Also, the grip leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not a fan of the matador Cameron grip. Toulon has a similar grip for their putters, but I also have the option of going with a Lamkin Deep Etched at no up charge. My thoughts... 10/10 Looks 8/10 Feel 2/10 Customizable 5/10 Headcover (wouldn't be surprised if the velcro starts scratching the finish over time, but that's speculation) For what it is, I really like it. If I never rolled a Toulon, this would likely be a purchase that I'd take to a shop to get adjusted to my specs, likely change out the shaft and definitely the grip. Cameron missed the mark on not letting people customize the loft/lie/length. And that's a minimum ask, most of the other brands for clubs in this category are giving options for specs and also grips/shafts. I won't say this feels like a cash grab by Cameron, they are just behind the curve compared to what others are offering.

Very cool. When I switched to graphite iron shafts due to some off season injuries, I really liked the LA Golf, pretty close to the PX 6.5 I was playing. The Darts were identical in results, just cheaper 😄 The black profile wood shafts match up pretty nice to the iron shafts. My red headed step child hybrid has been long over due for a shaft upgrade. Hit it more than my 5 and 6 irons

Not 100% sure of the comparison, but against the deep milling on the phantom line, it's still soft but gives better strike feedback. The deep milling on the phantoms was too muted for me. I've stated this here before, feel like the 2025 Toulon milling is the best face milling on the market. Basically the face milling has a soft feel, nice deep sound at impact. Hard for me to explain I guess. When I get a little off though I can tell instantly where I struck it, even on the larger Alcatraz head.

I'll check it out. The Recoil Dart I have in it is 75g and feels too light. Good to see heavier options. Thanks

Thanks, I'll take a look at the VF HY. I have a Recoil Dart Hybrid in it now and just not loving it.

Hi all, Looking for shaft recommendation for my hybrid. Have Denali black in my driver and 3w, UST Dart V in irons. I’ve done fittings for these clubs, but never a fitting for the hybrid. Can anyone recommend a hybrid shaft with similar profiles? Thanks in advance, cheers!

Always curious what people prefer for a putter finish. I'm lean more towards a brushed black finish. What's your preference?
