I will preface this by saying I am a complete novice when it comes to driver shaft knowledge.
Have been using the Hzrdus Black 6.0 62g S-Flex shaft for years. My swing speed has improved over that time and I believe I am starting to grow out of it. I've noticed if I swing my normal swing (110-115mph) my shaft flexes too hard and I send everything right. It almost forces me to take a bit off and hit a perfect 80% swing to hit consistent drives. In theory, that sounds fine, but I have gotten very inconsistent dialing back my natural swing speed and trying to hit a perfect swing speed window.
I was recommended the Diamana D+ 62g X-Flex by a friend because of the distance/control you get out of it, but Ive heard its a very hard shaft to swing and you better have a ton of speed.
From those who have used it, is that true? Would leveling up from the 62g Hzrdus Black S-Flex to the 62g Diamana X-Flex be too big of a jump? They have similar profiles from what I can see, so Im not sure what would make it that much more difficult to swing unless it feels significantly heavier. I guess the other option I thought would be to keep it simple and just try the same Hzrdus Black but in a X-Flex.
