  1. Sam, atta boy! Always good to reclaim the swing again! One of the keys to golf is always remember that the swing will come back from the dead. I went through a 2 month period earlier this year, I think January & February, where I played so poorly, I contemplated not playing for awhile. I was surprised and sad. I couldn't even chip the ball with any confidence. Chili dips were happening several times a round, and it hurt because the short game has always been my strength. I would card anything from 90-99. I was a 16 HDCP and going backwards! Fast forward to today, I am a 12 HDCP and playing the best golf in my life. In the past 2 weeks I shot 4 rounds in the high 70's. So I know how it feels to reclaim the old swing again. I am not sure why or how it happens, it just does. I had a little vertigo back then so that is what I am blaming it on. That is my story and I am sticking to it! 🙂
  2. 845's were in my bag for quite a few years! I loved them.
  3. There are tons of fake Honma irons on Ebay. Do not know about JPX's.
  4. Yes, Long Beach is a tough city. Quite a criminal element in that city. The cops are tough and roll strong. The golf course is in the nicer part of Long Beach.
  5. I played 18 today with my golf buddy. Played El Dorado Golf Course in Long Beach CA. Is a good course and test of golf. I was completely off and my buddy was on - we play $10 per hole, he won 7 so I parted with $70 today. That is only a small part of the day. We ended our golf and grabbed a couple beers to hang out at the course and relax before the drive home. We are sitting next to the Pro shop and restaurant. The driving range is only 60 feet away. Suddenly we hear loud combative voices yelling very loudly and aggressively. A fight starts very quickly, a physical throwing of punches and rolling on the ground and blood everywhere especially on one guy's forehead and nose. We did not move from our table and just watched. It was over rather quickly but we did not know "why" it happened. Paramedics and Police were there in 5 minutes. The guy who threw the punches and "so called won the fight" fled away. The guy who "lost the fight" stayed for treatment from the medics and also gave the police the report. One ambulance and 3 police cars. There were several witnesses, we really did not see the entire thing, only the rolling on the ground, but there were a few filling the police in with the details. It so happens that the guy who got beat up was waiting for a driving range stall to open up. The accoster took the stall and ignored the waiting guy. There you have it. The golfers said they knew the accoster and he always was a "nice guy". The guy who got beat up was determined to catch his assaulter. The victim told us he got head butted and did not see it coming. He had a huge gash about 2.5 inches long on his forehead and his nose looked busted. I think this happens at public courses more often than private ones. Maybe LP can let us know if he has ever seen fisticuffs at his private course. The police did a great job and said the perp will be charged with a felony assault and that they will find the guy who stole the driving range stall from the guy who was waiting for it.
  6. Sam, she is currently single. If anyone on this forum has a shot, I would bet on you getting her. Her last BF was a reality TV actor and her ex-husband was a MMA fighter. You are a real actor & a peace maker.
  7. I have heard that they are the same person. Has anybody seen them together???
  8. Logo up usually causes 4-5 shots worse per round. I would complain to them.
  9. You probably will not see the best imo irons out there. Look at PXG offerings in players and players distance irons. Most fitters can't get them. Premium irons and worth it.
  10. Sam, not everyone can hit irons as far as you 🙂
  11. Scottie 50 Rory 10 Rose 5 Fleetwood 5 Lawry 5 ______ TOTAL 75
  12. I agree 100%. If he did not see it, it did not happen. That should be the end of it.
  13. AiSmoke TD - as good as it gets
  14. Yes. Makes me think of the old days when All-Star games in every sport were much more competitive, I assume the huge contracts now have changed all of that. Suarez is up this year for a potential trade. His X-rays were negative.
  15. Open picks: Rory Scottie Rose Fleetwood Lowry Alt: Rahm
  16. You recommended the Verrado courses to me when I came to AZ last year. We chose the Victory Course as the Founders Course is more difficult. We had a lot of fun playing the Victory Course. I shot a 81 and it is a par 72. Beautiful course ! The 18th was memorable with the elevated tee and having to carry the water, very picturesque and fun, a 470 yard par 5 from the whites. Got a birdie there 🙂
