  1. The subforum regions are divided to include New England and Mid-Atlantic. I don't believe there is a designated "Northeast" region? I believe the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic are not necessarily competing regions, but Mid-Atlantic states are contained within the larger Northeast, as are New England states. Furthermore, I'll concede that some parts of New York could probably be considered New England, but there's no way I'd ever offend New Englanders by suggesting they bear responsibility for any part of the Garden State. Is the system perfect? Maybe not. New York is a tough state to categorize because it's fairly big and arguably borders 3-4 different regions. I sympathize as a Pittsburgher. It's tough to know if our topics should belong in the Mid-Atlantic or Midwest category, but I do the best I can with the tools that I have.
  2. I’ve noticed the Tour (Rogue?) Blacks are pretty cheap in the 95/105 TX recently, too. But I didn’t think these profile quite the same as Ventus, Tensei White, AD VF, etc. hybrids? I thought they were more mid/mid. I thought about pulling the trigger on one but didn’t think they’d match that Rogue Silver/Tour Green profile quite enough. Don’t want to conflate two different things here. Would Atmos TS Black be another throwback hybrid shaft that could work as a Pro White replacement?
  3. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the general consensus here seems that it’s more fairway wood like than a ‘traditional’ hybrid, but not quite as 1:1/effective in replacing a preferred FW at similar lofts. I hit the GT1 4 hybrid a little bit in demo, but I didn’t know that it was enough to replace the ‘high and far’ combo of my G425 7w… I do understand the GT1 to be a pretty solid upgrade over the TSR1, which I haven’t hit.
  4. These posts popped up during the US Open, too. I refuse to get sucked in again.
  5. I wash my white polos on a hot wash cycle, never use liquid fabric softener, and never put them in the dryer. I also try to wash them right away after wearing, even if it's a load that doesn't have much else in it.
  6. Walking onto the New/Jubilee can be a bit of a crapshoot from day to day; if there’s an event on the day you try, it could be tough to get a 3 ball, although it seems like they try to keep one open if the other has something going on. As is often the case, the early bird gets the worm. Be at the starter’s hut before 8am and have some flexibility. Much easier to walk on as a single, as well. I had no trouble when I was there last July (as a single). You can always book in advance and then reroute your plans if you win the 48 hour ballot. Staff is very accommodating.
  7. Eye test only, but the Miura MB 101s had some of the least offset I can remember seeing in a modern blade from a ‘major’ brand.
