That explains everything. You're suffering from a macronutrient deficiency and your carbohydrate-deprived brain is making you argue with everyone on online golf forums!

The Ezone 380??? Why would you want to play any other driver if you had the best looking pear shape head of all time at address. Aside from a 460cc version of that head that retains the exact same shape but bigger.

Also, why show examples of a consistently mediocre ball striker to prop your theories up? Kevin Na has always been 100% reliant on his strokes gained around the green and putting. He has won in his career in spite of his ball striking, not the other way around.

Hip/Shoulder Separation and Hands at Impact
golferdude54 replied to Bow Hunter's topic in Instruction & Academy
Right elbow is too bent past P3, more width between club and chest is needed. Watch Tom Watson’s right elbow in his prime vs. 2009, he was wider in the 1970s/80s. Hold off release/finish is robbing you of power and ironically encourages over-draws/hooks when it’s not a weak push/push-fade. -
Left handed golfer and Trackman data
golferdude54 replied to BTE0816's topic in Instruction & Academy
No, on TM + means right and - means left regardless of what side you swing from. TM is really best for outdoors when it can track the entire ball flight in real time. Indoors it uses algorithms to determine the rest of the flight.- 1 reply

Erica Larkin: Heretical or 'True' swing?
golferdude54 replied to Nickc's topic in Instruction & Academy
I doubt she really cares about what anyone is saying on here, maybe one of her students will point it out and she'll read it while having her morning coffee and chuckle. Then she'll move on and go to one of her 2 East Coast academies depending on the time of year. Because she seems pretty well off. -
Kurt Kitayama's Significant Swing Changes
golferdude54 replied to Valtiel's topic in Instruction & Academy
@Valtiel Why don't you start a thread of what the statistically worst ball striker on tour does that could be causing such poor ball striking? As of this season, it's Braden Thornberry in my custom ball striking stat that involves driving distance on every hole, fairways hit, distance from edge of fairway when missed, and GIR + proximity. Last year, it was Taylor Montgomery who was last. Their swings are pretty non-textbook at first glance. -

So do you just go on WRX and TST when you’re waiting on the tee box during your rounds? I can’t say I don’t do the same thing!

Yes, my bad, I meant shoulder extension. Sorry, I have the same drinking problem that Ted Striker does in Airplane movie except I don't know my lefts and rights.

Crickets again... I save people money from getting a revealer that just wastes space by testing torque in their palms, which works with every "0 torque" putters by the way, and no one gives a cr*p. Phil Kenyon is endorsed by Scotty Cameron & he owns Visio putting aids; LAB and the Putting Board (a putter path training aid with a better on-plane concept than the Visio mats) endorse each other, so there was always going to be negative criticism from Kenyon.

Happy Gilmore 2 Review Thread (Spoilers)
golferdude54 replied to dufferaaron's topic in The 19th Hole
I just realized Nelly Korda and Nancy Lopez as the mental institute judges for Shooter McGavin’s trial both voted nay for his release. “Negative Nelly/Nancy” is a popular term and they both judged negatively. I wonder if that was written on purpose with those two in mind. -

Doesn’t the lead shoulder gain flexion P4-P5? I feel that detail is overlooked a lot. There’s trail elbow flexion/extension, lead arm abduction/adduction, and then there’s lead shoulder extension/flexion. The hands can’t go down from where it was at P4 relative to the torso without shoulder flexion.

Eh, Tiger’s driving had streaky years, it was really only 1999, 2000, and 2002 that were great. 2000 especially because while total driving isn’t as advanced as strokes gained off the tee, the best Bubba could do while being #1 in distance was just inside top 100 in accuracy and he never got over 1.5 strokes gained. Tiger was #2 in distance and almost top 50 in accuracy so he very well could’ve gained almost 2 strokes off the tee in 2000. Scottie’s driving is a close example of how good 1980-1984 Nicklaus would’ve performed off the tee today because they almost have the same swing aside from the footwork and follow-through.

Don't discount yoga, a lot of the popular stretches you see stem from yoga. However, the extreme backbends from yoga do not really make sense from an evolutionary perspective when it comes to the human body. That type of range of motion of spinal extension has been linked with pinched lumbar nerves among other lumbar issues. Just the lying cobra pose and kneeling palms grab soles pose are enough for backbends. Most of yoga poses already count as stretches, they're not mutually exclusive so you do have time to do them.

Kurt Kitayama's Significant Swing Changes
golferdude54 replied to Valtiel's topic in Instruction & Academy
So he changed his depth and plane. It's pretty interesting how trying to start his takeaway like Tiger did with Butch with his left arm going out instead of in somehow made his hand path deeper later on in the backswing. -
LIV Tour Discussion Thread (*** NO POLITICS ***)
golferdude54 replied to SheriffBooth's topic in Tour Talk
I wonder about the consequences Brooks, Bryson, and Bubba will get for being in the Happy Gilmore 2 movie that clearly poked at LIV. Are they going to realize they can never get out and they have to put the tee back in the basket or else they get the hose again? -
Not to mention you can cheat the tee inside grip test by firmly gripping it in your fingers to prevent twisting on purpose. It has to be gripped lightly to slide around in your fingers if there are any twisting from hovering from above the ground in a square position at its lie angle. I had posted videos of my own 2-part revealer test involving using just the hands on this forum but all I got were crickets. You can tell if a putter has zero torque if you roll/spin it freely inside your palm without any resistance, a Bullseye can spin inside the palm but with a bit of resistance because it's slightly heel-shafted. A dead center-shafted symmetrical head putter will roll/spin inside the palm with noticeably less resistance than the Bullseye (like the bLaD.1/B.2). The 2nd part is finding the balance point and balancing it on your index finger with the face pointed any orientation, and it doesn't slide to its default toe hang, a Bullseye will slide down to a full toe hang from a face-balance position or toe-up. But if it was center-shafted, it wouldn't slide down, it would actually stay at wherever the face is pointing. This is the lie angle balance part Kenyon mentioned in the video that is apparently different from torque-free. Now, the index finger balancing toe hang test is different from say, using the corner of a flat table. Balancing part of the shaft on top of that would eliminate the grip having an effect on toe hang since the grip isn't touching the surface; plus the table has less friction than our fingers, so it's the best toe hang test. I haven't been able to find a putter that balances toe straight up on a table corner and spins with zero resistance in my palm. I think a combination of the Edel Brick putter with the weight taken out of the toe and added to the heel along with a center shafted LAB B.2 would be able to achieve that but then people would say it's too unforgiving because of its super low MOI.

Slo mo swing repetitions. Your experience
golferdude54 replied to naval2006's topic in Instruction & Academy
There's multiple videos on Youtube of Ben Hogan demonstrating the slow motion full swing drill at different times in his life. He wouldn't show it so often if he didn't think it was so important. -
Wouldn't it be hilarious if it turned out they never paid Artisan and Artisan only found out through the HG2 movie and sued?

So Moe Norman's set-up was actually correct the whole time? I could tell that was in their minds as they were explaining clubhead back, handle higher but they didn't want to mention him at all...

Effect of Hands Higher at Impact?
golferdude54 replied to Birdman03's topic in Instruction & Academy
I find it funny how a lot of people completely overlook what their body is doing when they’re concerned about a certain club position. It reminds me of the cross-eyed shooter in Spaceballs.
