  1. The needle gun is the way to go if you have one but at ~$100, and not being used very often, it's not an item most home club workers have.
  2. If trying to go from a plumbers neck to a double bend shaft it could be a lot of work, you would have to find another post to install to connect the shaft then getting it all aligned correctly can be very tricky. PXG sells most of their putters with different hosel options, would probably be better off selling yours and buying the one you want.
  3. Not sure what the benefit of a swivel base would be, I have mine mounted directly to my workbench and never felt a need to move it but if you really want it maybe look at ordering it directly from Golf Mechanix. I ordered a loft/lie machine directly from them mainly because GolfWorks was showing out of stock for an extended time. It was shipped from Taiwan and I got it in less than 2 weeks, even with the additional customs charge it was a little cheaper than ordering from GolfWorks.
  4. Could be one of mine, I hit my used ProV1's on the range all the time. They've been played a minimum of 18 holes, many 36. I keep a few used ones in the bag for putting and chipping practice, any remaining get hit on the range. Our pro shop keeps a big bucket of used balls and hands them out to juniors.
  5. Have you looked at some of the online retailers that sell custom built Ping clubs? As mentioned they will have a lot more shafts to choose from than what Ping lists on their web site.
  6. Your 9 iron swing speed is close to the PGA Tour average so both clubs seem low in distance. According to trackman the PGA Tour average for a 9 iron is an 85 mph swing speed, with 8647 spin, and a 148 yard carry.
  7. One common way to get a consistent grip is to hold the club straight out (~90 degrees) from the body about waist high and take your grip. Grips with reminder ribs can help.
  8. What made you select this individual to do club repair? I've seen some businesses recommended in forum threads that did club repair/mods but there was always an external business contact like a web site. Don't believe your allowed to advertise a service like that on WRX.
  9. I would go back to GolfTec and tell them you're not happy with the driver. It defeats the purpose of a fitting to be given a shaft different from what you tested. The questions you ask are the reasons one goes to get fitted, to test out different head/shaft combos and see what the results are.
