I was playing a run down little par 3 course about a month back, by myself. Course totally empty, just brought my 3 wedges, odd numbered irons, and putter. I think I had lasered 102 yards. Smooth 50 degree. Absolutely flush it, with not a smidge of curve on it. Right at the flag. Lands about a yard in front of the cup, hits the brakes riiiight at the lip, then rips back a little. I was praying for it not to go in the entire time. Beggars can't be choosers, but I didn't want #1 to be in that situation!

Maybe I'm nuts, but actually wouldn't be surprised to see them get back together. Obviously depends on if Geno picks up a bag here for the homestretch. He's played worse since the split...

I think in late June, I counted up 13 straight days of either playing, practicing, or hitting putts on the mat in our apartment. My most by far. Tomorrow may very likely be my last round until a charity tournament I play in every November. Late May to Late July its as much golf as I want. From the time school (mainly football practices) until school is out, I'm lucky to get a range session or two in per month.

Agreed, fellow Fuzzy. Cedar Crest is a top 5 course in DFW for me. Truly a blast. Being able to play a Tillinghast course for less that $60 is really pretty cool.

Finally made it out to Tenison as a 30 year resident of Dallas. Played Highlands and absolutely enjoyed it. It really is an awesome layout. Conditions were a solid 8.5/10, other than the greens which were in great shape just a little ruggy. There are some kickass golf holes on that course!

87 at Tenison Highlands in Dallas. I've lived in Dallas for 30 years, been playing golf for 8, and had never made it out to Tenison. Highly recommend it for any DFW folks that haven't. It's like going in a time machine in the best way possible.

I was playing The Vineyard in Cincinnati back in the beginning of June. We finish the front 9, go in for a dog and a 6-pack, and head back to our carts. I take what I think is my cart to #10 tee. Some dude starts storming at us. Well, I took the cart from a group behind us that also stopped at the turn. He had Minnesota Twins headcovers that looked exactly like my Atlanta Braves ones that I use when I travel. Exact color scheme as the Braves. That was embarassing.
