  1. This looks like it might be it! While the whole kit with the adjustable weight system is a little pricey at $75, they sell the grip standalone for an industry-competitive $30. Now all I have to do is convince myself that the extra $45 really isn't too much to spend to satisfy my tweakhead tendencies and "what-if" curiosities. Thanks!
  2. 🤣 Ha! Awesome. I'd have to turn it 90°, but, yep, that's a hockey stick profile alright. I actually totally believe that you know this exists... it's WRX after all. As well as you should totally believe that I'm actually in the process of cutting a slice off of an old hockey stick of mine and test-fitting it to a cheap anser-style knock off I had sitting around as I type this. Because, it is WRX after all. Yeah, I was really surprised how rectangular that PXG grip was, and equally surprised how much I liked it in my hands.
  3. FlatCat might be the closer of the two to what I'm looking for, might give it a shot, but the short sides of the "rectangle" are still radiused and curved on Flatcat and 2 Thumb. Really just looking for a rectangle profile, kinda like a hockey stick.
  4. Test drove a bunch of PXG putters the other day, and I'll probably be going with a Bat Attack ZT here soon. I REALLY liked the size, texture, weight, rectangular shape... literally everything, about the Slant 1.5 grip except the forward press. The "slant" part of the Slant grip won't work for me. Bummer they don't have a straight option like it. What might be the closest rectangular-type putter grip out there that isn't built as a forward press?
  5. Shout out to @NRJyzr for some classic Ram equipment here. Hit 77 yesterday, irons-only from the whites (5950yd, par 71) with the 1980 Golden Ram Tour Grinds 3-P. Ram Tom Watson Scoring System TW 850, 860, and Ben Hogan Fifty-Three for wedges. The irons swing at D8 so my arms hurt now, but felt great like they always do. Even on a couple of thin shots that showed up, they didn't sting nearly as bad as most of my other vintage sets (my Mac Muirfields or Staff "line-overs" taking the prize for sheer pain from the bottom grooves). Always a great time taking out the classics. Playing with old clubs will never get old.
  6. I actually just regripped a set of Tommy 845 Titanium's with midsize Champkey X's. Great grips, can't go wrong for the price... do it. Also, those irons are sneaky good... compact, yet very forgiving, the sole shape is way ahead of its time (almost Srixon-like v-sole complete with some leading edge relief), and the grooves will never, ever wear out. The face is made of, well, Titanium.
