I think if your doing a fitting you won’t see much difference between the ai200 and ai150 because the majority of the time your hitting off a mat so your not seeing the benefit of the new sole design and also because they have the same face construction in the 7 irons so your perception is going to be they are the same but the 200 is a little easier to hit and longer. I would guess because of the different construction of the heads in the ai150 in 8-w that is really where the sets differentiate from each other. It’s kind of a shame that in most fittings you only hit the 7 irons because you’re not able to see the benefits you might get from the ai150 in the shorter club over the 200. I think it’s import to keep that in mind that if you are in between those two, think about what you need from your shorter irons, if it’s still about distance and height 200 would be better but if it’s about control the 150 is going to better. With the 200 already in rotation they probably should have just done an ai100 where the whole set was the 17-4 face and then let people go ai200 to combo where they would need it or use the ai100’s as long irons in cb/mb sets. So it’s a bit of a miss to me but that does not mean I don’t think it wont be a solid iron set that would fit people and it was really really smart to offer a 2x trade in bonus for the release as well, if you maximize it at minimum your getting $1000 dollars off, basically 50% off a new set, and I know you can trade in your equipment for another brand too but an extra $500 off can be the difference between buying t150s or ai150s.
