  1. I believe the GRF concept is fairly easy to understand but without some way of being able to measure pressure trace and all that, I think it has limited value or at least has limits depending on where you are in your golf swing journey as some have mentioned it has helped them even without being on plates/etc. So, to be fair I can only speak to my own experience so here it is... First of all, I had heard the basics such as... - you need to get pressure shifted back to your lead side earlier than you think (just after P2) - before you start downswing, majority of pressure is at lead side There are more commonly thrown around GRF nuggets but these two I think are pretty essential to using GRF to max potential. Anyway.... I had practiced with that in mind for quite some time and thought I was doing pretty well... until I was able to measure it. I was able to try Bal.On inserts and in true "feel ain't real" fashion, I found out that I was nowhere close to where I thought I was. In fact I actually found out I was starting my backswing with a little shift to the lead side with pressure... never would have thought that. I picked up a pair of inserts and after a few weeks I was able to improve my pivot quite a bit. As a result some of the faults I had been working on improved as well. It's not new ground but for me the moral of the story is that you need to verify what you think you are doing. That could be a qualified instructor or pressure inserts/plates (if you know how to interpret what they are telling you).
  2. If you google "reasons why being acquired by private equity firm is bad for a company", you should get plenty of insight why. In short PE firms don't really care about the product as much as they care about how much value they can extract from it in the short term.
  3. exactly... this is bad... very bad. Great news for all the LAB haters out there tho
  4. "VC backed" is a mixed bag, especially if referring to PE subset of VC where the goal is to pump in short term cash with plans to exit/sell off. As far as Vox, they haven't really done well. They have had financial issues since 2018 with more recently two rounds of layoffs in 2023 and in 2024. Will there be any impact to WRX? Who knows, but it is hard to believe they acquired it without having plans to monetize it further. Maybe that just means bringing more eyes to the site and increasing revenue through more ads... or maybe it means paid membership needed to access certain parts of the forum, maybe both. Time will tell.

  6. wondered the same... I'm fairly certain its cappuccino, but I know a few Aggie fans that would be interested if it was actually maroon.
  7. i can't emphasize enough what many have already said... water... lots of it. As far as Gatorade and the like just be careful of overdoing that... the amount of sugars in regular gatorade can be more detrimental than electrolyte benefit. Having said that, everybody has a different health needs but you can't go wrong with lots of water. During Texas summers, a half gallon of water per 18 works well for me.
  8. not sure I follow.... If you are asking what the difference between the Elyte TD max vs the Elyte TD,.. I liked the spin window of the Elyte TD better and dispersion wise it was even a touch better. Having said that my misses are toe side.. rarely heel so maybe that miss would produce a different "winner".
  9. for me there was more spin in the Elyte TD max than the AIS TD max. Imo the AIS version is better. Having said that the Elyte TD (not max) is a better head than the AIS TD. YMMV.
  10. update: Ordered: 5/26 In Production: 6/26 Shipped: 7/11 If estimated delivery of 7/15 holds out it would be 7 weeks from order to delivery.
