  1. Thanks! Just sent him a note. I'll also send you a PM as we get closer for some restaurants and general area questions. Appreciate the help. Thanks Ben
  2. Thanks for the reply. Yes, we are going to skip Mesquite all together this trip and just focus on St. George. Might try to make a future trip out to the Vegas/Mesquite in the off season to play some of the "higher end" courses at off season rates. Based on your reply and other things I'm reading we will probably add the Ledges. Do you know if we can make tee times in advance at the Ledges with a group of 12 if we aren't getting lodging through them?
  3. We are coming to the same realization. The plan now is to fly into St. George and stay completely in St. George for the entire trip. We'll save Mesquite for a Vegas/Mesquite trip. Our new itinerary is: Day 1 - Arrival Day: Green Spring - PM Day 2: Sand Hollow - AM Sky Mountain - PM Day 3: Coral Canyon - AM Coral Canyon - PM Day 4: Copper Rock - AM Sand Hollow - PM Sand Hollow: I have heard lots of issues with conditions at Sand Hollow, I'm hopeful that by next April conditions should have improved. Head they got hit hard by fungus, maybe? We are staying at Sand Hollow and can get great pricing on tee times—why we are playing this track twice. Coral Canyon: Great deal on a 36 hole day. I've heard conditions there have really improved over the last year or so. Sounds like they are investing in the course. Green Spring: Heard this is one of best muni courses in the area and I'm thinking should be a good warm up round. Sky Mountain: Same as green spring. Heard views are awesome, but conditions should be decent but not amazing. Copper Rock: Heard we should expect great conditions, but the course layout is kind of so so. They want $270 in April, not sure if this course is worth that? Black Desert: May try to get tee times 30 days out, but not getting my hopes up for a group of 12 in April. The new pricing for 2026 has pricing at $450 in April!! Kind of insane. I can play a lot of golf for $450, but if it is as good as people say, maybe it is worth it? $300 is usually my limit per round, and that course better be in amazing condition with great service and amenities. I'm not trying to cut corners—these trips are all about playing great courses. That said, I don't want to blow everyone's budget on a single round or two. Ledges: Heard the front 9 is okay, back 9 is way better with great views. Worth adding to the list, maybe instead of Copper Rock—should definitely be cheaper?
  4. Thank you for the reply. • I'll definitely check out the Rockies section • I agree with you, with so many great courses in St. George, it may be a better idea to play another course. The current set up is purely out of convince sense we're staying there. • I'll probably take your advice and book a place holder reservation and then try to Black Desert 30 days out. Afternoon would be completely fine. • I checked out Copper Rock, but they have the week blocked off as a place holder for the Epson Tour • Another thought is to save the drive to Mesquite and just play The Ledges and maybe Green Spring that day. Have a great trip!
  5. Looking for some feedback on our tentative schedule for a trip in mid -April 2026. • In mid-April can we expect good weather and course conditions? From what I'm reading it looks like it should be a good time of year to go. • The plan is to fly direct into St. George, UT • We will have 12 golfers so many of the courses will let us book pretty far in advance with a group booking. • We are staying at Sand Hollow and can get a pretty good deal, so that is why we're playing three rounds there. If you think we'll get bored playing that many rounds there, I'll knock it down to just 2 and swap out with something else. This is what we are thinking so far: Day 1 - Arrival Day: Sky Mountain - PM Day 2: Sand Hollow - AM Coral Canyon - PM Day 3 - Drive to Mesquite for the day: Conestoga - AM Falcon Ridge - PM Day 4: Sand Hollow - AM Sand Hollow - PM Ideally we'd love to play the following: Wolf Creek - Rate is $360 and it a bit out of our price range for a single round Black Desert - Not staying on site and the chances of getting 12 on doesn't seem possible. Also, I'd suspect we'd be north of $350. Any courses I should swap out? Copper Mountain? the Ledges? Any Muni courses we should add instead? Appreciate the help.
