I like the look, too.
But sometimes I wonder: if there was no golfwrx, and no golfwrx types milling about, would there ever have been any such thing as a mini driver?
I imagine in OEM boardrooms around the country, something like:
'So, let me get this straight, Jim: it's smaller than a driver but larger than a fairway wood?'
- Yes, that's right.
'I see. In other words, it's *neither* a driver nor a 3 wood, is that what you"re saying?'

Is that what your envisioning?'
- Exactly, Bob. Exactly!
'A revolution in golf club design, is what you're saying?'
- A true revolution!
'A brand new idea that no OEM has ever before dared to try'
- A daringly new idea, yes!
(Pause)
'And who's going to *buy* this club, Jim - this not-a-driver-but-not-a-fairway-wood?
(Pause)
'Let me put it more clearly: exactly 'who, and by 'who' I mean actual consumers in the mass marketplace, as we currently understand that term, will find appeal in a new category of club design that literally offers them the *worst* of both worlds?'
(Pause)
- I hear you, Bob,iI really do. It seems completely counterintuitve, right?
'You took the words out of mouth, Jim'
- Yes. Yes, but except for this, Bob. Except for a new website that has just exploded onto the scene, and .....
