Response from Arccos about the subscription. Sounds like it will work as a normal rangefinder without the subscription. I don't see $200 a year in value just for providing the same "plays-like" yardages you see in the app and automatically setting the pin location.

Yeah, it seems ridiculous. I just emailed their customer support to confirm that the total subscription cost with the laser would be $350+ every year. Its a shame, because this seems to add a lot of convenience to using Arccos.
