  1. a variety of reasons, not the least of which is that I am a bit of a club-ho. mostly because I don't always have my gamers with me, and the range closest to my work is grass and a bit on the sandy side. I wanted something a little harder and more durable than my gaming set that I didn't mind beating range balls with and keeping in my office, but similar enough to what I have now that the feel change to my gamers would be minimal. I do like the looks of the S series clubs though and knowing how I am I will probably end up putting them in play anyway. the more the merrier I guess.
  2. Dude if I had won this in a raffle I’d be gaming this mf and you wouldn’t be able to chisel the smile off my face. 😁
  3. A buddy of mine plays these irons and they absolutely smoke. GLWS
  4. The Elyte irons are something special. They are really the only GI iron I can look at without feeling like I’m holding some kind of hybrid monstrosity. That and they flat out perform.
  5. I have the same issue. What my coach has told me is have the following feel: when I take the club back from the ball, keep the y with the hands until the shaft is parallel to the ground and then go UP with the hands and shaft. for me it feels like I’m pushing the club really outside, but when I actually go to make a strike on the ball and keep my hands low the shaft and club head are online. If done correctly, when I start my down swing with the hip move inertia will naturally shallow the club without getting stuck behind. After working on this for a while I can feel when I start my backswing too shallow because I get stuck behind on the downswing (because this automatic shallowing happens anyway) and either hit the ball fat or shank it because I’m forced to cast and flip.
