  1. Hey all, Picked up a used set of i230s 3-P this summer with DG TI X100s and they’ve been absolutely awesome for my game. 3i has been in and out of bag as mostly a tee club on some courses. Was thinking about throwing a Hybrid shaft (Ventus Black HB 9x) in it to try and squeeze out a little more distance vs buy a new $450-500 utility iron set up when I already have a club I like. my club builder says he won’t have any problem sanding shaft down to fit and adding weight if we need to. Anyone done something similar to this and have success? Or waste of time? Any thoughts appreciated TIA
  2. Hey WRX Fam have a question for you- Picked up a set of used i230s this Summer I’ve been gaming. 3-PW with TI DG X100s. Been playing 4-PW consistently and messed around with 3i off the tee a little here and there. It’s been really solid, forgiving and consistent as long as you aren’t way off the toe. Was thinking about buying a 95g graphite Hybrid shaft for the 3i and almost making a utility with it to gain a little more off the tee. My club builder said he’d have no problem sanding down a Ventus Black HB or the like and we can get swing weight right after with weights or lead tape. Anyone done anything similar? Any reason not to? Or better off just to buy the new Idi or pick up a used Icrossover? TIA
  3. same story here. None at local smaller retailers or Dicks’s/GG. Pretty small inventory online even at 2nd Swing. I love my i230 3 iron but this seems to be calling my name
  4. Anyone picked one of these up or got to game one yet? Debating on 3 Idi, 3 Hybrid, or 7 wood in this spot would like some versatility Current 7 wood is bueno from tight lies, but very rarely need a 240 yard soft landing shot from tight lies
  5. Went to this from AI Smoke TD 3w very happy with it
  6. I honestly think the i230s are some of the most consistent, forgiving and easy to hit irons out there. Them and the G440 Max driver have definitely raised the floor of my game on bad days. &nbsp the BPS are very forgiving for what they are, and feel fantastic, but it’s not apples to apples. Especially in the long irons
  7. Had Elyte TD and went to Ping G440 Max I know this isn’t a typical WRX move but been a huge move for my game
  8. Ping & Titleist- “ Let’s release new drivers every 2 years so hopefully there’s actual improvements between generations” Callaway - “Let’s release 14 versions of the same club in a 6 month span and replace them all with something we claim is better just 5 months after the last release of the last previous version”
  9. This whole time we were all lead to believe would be 4-S series irons. But looking at the clubs now it kind of makes sense- the S1 and S3 have so many design elements in common with the T1 and T3 wedges. so S is New Players line 263/265 New Pro series Mid Cap options? I’m guessing will get a different name and then JPX series stays as GI irons This lineup makes alot more sense than having 4 S series clubs and 3 new Mp clubs as well as the 4 jpx clubs
  10. For as good as the X Forged looks, the Max’s aesthetic makes the i240s look as good as MP-33s in comparison lol
