  1. Okay good to know. I have a bunch of extra cobra head weights as well as some lead tape so it sounds like the best option is just trial and error and seeing what feels the best.
  2. I play a Cobra Darkspeed driver with a Ventus TR Blue 5S with the grip to adapter tip at 44 inches. I currently have a 12g weight in the back and a 3g weight in the front of the driver head. I have felt for a while that this club is too light and I want to increase the swing weight but I do not have a scale. I changed out my Ventus TR Blue 5S for a Ventus Velocore+ Blue 6S but now I want to increase some weight to the head. Cobra has additional weights I can purchase - 4, 6, 10, 14, 16 grams - and I was curious if there is a set rule that if you increase shaft weight, how much weight needs to increase in the clubhead to keep the same swing weight. I read that to increase driver swing weight by one point that 2 grams needs to be added to the head, but I am not sure if that is accurate. Any insight would be great, thank you!
  3. I had my shaft installed logo down at STD and after a year I have found my optimal playing adjustment to be +1.0 Draw. But now, the logo on the shaft (Ventus Velcore+ Blue) is in my view and slightly off to the side which really bothers me. Is it easy enough to alter the adapter sleeve? I don't necessarily need to do it but if it is something easy for a shop to do I would like it done.
  4. I play my 5W at 42" as well. I was looking at a Cobra 3W which has a standard playing length of 43.25 (according to the website) so I was hoping to get that down similar to what you play, a 42.5 or so. How are your distance gaps with that? My 5W has about a 135-140 ball speed and carries around 215 or so. I am hoping if I play a 42.5 3W I can get into the 230 range.
  5. Curious if anyone plays a consistent shaft length across their fairway woods, or at least plays them closer in length compared to standard. I have always found standard length in woods and drivers to be much too long and usually cut down the driver, but am consider making my 3 wood a bit shorter now as well so it can play similar to my 5 wood, which I hit quite well.
  6. I am curious about the stock shaft in the Taylormade BRNR Mini-Driver. It looks like a UST Mamiya Proforce 65 M40X but I cannot seem to find any details about this shaft online (bend profile, launch, spin, etc). Would love some insight, thanks!
  7. With a draw setting isn’t that just increasing the lie angle so would it decrease it for a lefty?
  8. I am left handed and use a Cobra Darkspeed driver. I have struggled with slices/fades for a while so I play a STD DRAW or +1.0 DRAW setting on my adapter. I just realized today that there are specific left handed adapter sleeves that should be marked with an LH. So have I been playing a STD FADE or -1.0 FADE this whole time?? With a right handed adapter sleeve what do I need to set the head to in order to have a standard or +1.0 DRAW for a LEFT HANDED golfer? -1.0? With no DRAW designation?
