I recently bought a GC quad. I'm confused on some of the numbers in terms of lie angle. I have done the vertical line test which looks pretty good but my average over 20 shots shows an average of 4.3 tow down (pics below). My club path is consistently in to out with an average of 4.3. What I don't understand is that my best shots usually occur when my path and face to path numbers are exactly the same. I have read it is best for the face to path to be 1/2 of the swing path numbers but every time I accomplish that the ball stays out to the right. I assume this is because of the lie angle but the vertical line test does not match up with what the Quad is saying. I have included GC quad 7 iron data as well as a couple of photos from struck iron shots with my 7 iron.
