  1. Thank you for this information. This is exactly what I was wondering about and puts my mind at ease about a blended set.
  2. I agree with you, but my issue is most fitting centers (every one that I have called: Club Champion, Golf MD, Golf Galaxy, PGA Superstore) only have a 6i or 7i for fitting. They do not have a full set of irons for fitting. I called Titleist and their suggestion was to find a Titleist fitting center, but there are none close to me for three months. Just seems a bit backwards if Titleist is going to push the blended sets so much that I can't hit anything other than one club/loft from each model. 🤷‍♂️
  3. I've got a question for anyone with a blended set as I am thinking of getting a blended set of T-150 and T-250's. Backstory I'm a bit of an odd golfer as I enjoy hitting irons more than woods or hybrids. My current set of clubs (excluding driver and short game) is T-200 2-iron, Mizuno Hot Metal 919 4i-PW. I enjoy the setup but I want to get back into Titleist irons. I obviously want some forgiveness on those longer iron shots to help shrink the miss and my planned blended set was going to be T-350 2-iron, T-250 4-7i, and T-150 8i-PW. I do plan to be fit for the clubs to ensure I get the correct shaft, but most places I've called where I can be fit only have a 6i or possibly a 7i for the fitting. The Research I'm a bit of a data and stat nerd. I made a spreadsheet of all the new clubs and also watched nearly every YouTube fitting video and carefully plotted all the distances adjusted for swing speeds. The majority of these fittings only used a 6i and/or 7i. Also to note one of the videos where I obtained data was using a robot instead of a person to swing the club and that data is favored as it's more consistent than human swings. My Situation From my very unofficial data it appears with my swing speed the T-250 7i would have a distance of ~170 which is a tiny bit shorter than what I hit now, but I'm not worried about chasing distance. My concern is the switch to the T-150 8i. My data plot suggests I would hit that club ~153yds. The gap between 7i and 8i is much too big. I know the T-150's could be bent strong, but the model switch concerns me. My Question For those with a blended set, are you noticing a larger than normal gap between the clubs where the model switches? Did you have the loft's adjusted on any of your clubs to close that gap? Are you happy with the blended set or do you wish you had kept with all one model of iron? Thanks in advance!
