Hello- I met Carey at a PGA seminar for Class A professionals in the Bay Area around 1994-1995. I was blown away by his presentation and was lucky to have a couple beers with him after the seminar. I purchased his book from him The Double Connection (which I still have). I have incorporated what I learned into my teaching including loaning it to some of my students over the years. I was fortunate to meet and speak with the original “Mr. 59” Al Gieberger at Olympic Club in the late 90s. Carey had told me Al was one of his clients. I asked Al about him and Al lit up and started talking about Carey’s book. That certainly validated the impact Carey’s teaching had on professional golf and golfers of all levels…not that I needed it. I made a digital copy to preserve it due to a fire in my office. I am replying to this thread due to the unavailability of his book. I wouldn’t violate any copyright right laws and not looking for any monetary compensation but if there’s a way to share the book (perhaps to his son who could re-publish it) I’d be happy to pay it forward and send it along. ”It’s not how good your good shots are…it’s how good your bad shots are”!
