Just curious has anyone ever noticed lie angle being way off on their putter. I had a custom edel built in 2012 and due to some back issues leading to a needed posture change, I went to have it bent more upright. Anyway, I have the specs on how it was "supposedly" built with the lie being at 68 and loft at 3 deg. So i went in and it measured the lie at 65 with loft at 3 deg.
Is that usual that a putter would become flatter over time or would it more likely have been built incorrectly?
I have a shorter putter and the only thing I could think of would maybe be due to the putter head resting on the bag and the shaft being limited to move that the bouncing up and down over the years altered the lie.
