Pretty much stock vector shaft not being a great fit for me is why I took the Elyte irons back ...... going in different knowing exactly what is needed for my iron play . Solid iron with right shaft however.

How long until you get your set? What shaft did you go with? I too closing in on 60yo and having that struggle with long irons

Also think that the vector 80R steel shafts MIGHT be the issue 🤔..........

Jury out on elyte core irons and the strong lofts compared to my comfort zone ......but truthfully with today literally being first experience with them, a small adjustments period is allowed

TEAM ELYTE!!! with trade values being doubled, I brought P770s in and walked out with these beauts... ELYTE core model stock vector 80R 5-AW ..... They didn't have AW in lefty so that got ordered.... Hopefully playing on Thursday!!

Staying with Callaway, the new ELYTE core iron isn't classified as a players distance iron but when you set it down it's basically the size of the a.i.200 or T200.....29* loft and with the microspheres , well above average feel ......better than i230!

Very similar.....almost 60 and speed loss has cost me distance, confidence and greens .....every Bleu moon, I get that course or round in which I "find it" But struggle with longer irons in particular which bleeds over for some odd reason.....actually because I lack distance all around, if I don't hit a decent drive ,then get stuck hitting more club into greens than necessary. I'm lefty so REALLY hard to locate proper set to demo ....

Well the 2x trade value just opened and it's serendipitous for a set of i210s to fall thru on an ebay purchase 😀 So I'll take my P770 4-pw 2024 irons in and 100 bucks or so grabbing a 5-pw and AW but like you, I'll adjust weaker and flatter I believe..... Have you seen an improvement to scores , confidence, greens hit?

Has ANYONE weaken lofts on the std Elyte head? 29 * is stock and I'm thinking of maybe 2 degrees to 31* .....yes there is a HL model but size, shape and offset are different.....

How's launch and spin? 🤔

Are these equal in playability to P790 or even more forgiving whilst feeling better possibly? 🤔
