The IST unfortunately is just not the right profile for me. Not only is it larger than I prefer, I’m just not comfortable hitting “down” on it like I do the Adams. I think if I were more of a sweeper or played it more like a fairway wood it would be great. When I flush it, it’s great. But on 10 hits I’m flushing it at most 5 times. With the Adams 8. The Adams just feels like an extension of an iron so I can play it just like one. A shaft change isn’t going to change that.

In my limited experience I've had to shim all of my .355 shafts in the Maltby heads (TS1-IM, TS4, DRT Wedges). Granted, the shafts I used they've been reused multiple times so I'm sure the repeated sanding of the tip probably reduced the size some. Possibly same issue you had since you reused a shaft.

Probably should provide more context like what specific irons you've tried as there have been many models and even in their current lineup the irons have different COG placements. I'm a high spin player because of how much I hit down on the ball and the TS4 and TS1-IM are great for my swing. The M-05, TE, TS3 just spin too much for me.

Not in the 3/4/5 slots. I've used them as a 2I replacement, but they honestly don't fly that much higher than irons for me. Great for off the tee but not so good out of the rough or attacking greens. I'm eagerly waiting the TS-UI but it keeps getting pushed back. If I could find a 5H Adams Idea Pro I would jump on it because the 3H and 4H are great. Smaller heads with iron like faces and surprisingly pretty forgiving (not on thin hits though). I really liked the profile of the IST and it was a good way to experiment to see if even a 5H is an option because I would then replace the 3H and 4H with ISTs. I really think the Score LT shaft just isn't the right profile for that head so I'm not giving up yet.

I'm trying out the IST 5H this weekend but on my initial range time I ran into the same issue I've had for many years with higher lofted woods. I hit down so much on my clubs (old balata swing LOL) that the ball just spins up and I lose distance. So I've always needed lower spinning woods and hybrids, even using 13* 3W for quite a while. My current hybrids are old Adams Pro A12. The IST goes REALLY high and at the range wasn't carrying any farther than the TS4 6I. I'm sure the combo of the shaft (went with Score LT since the MPF hybrids weren't in stock) and my swing didn't help. I see the potential benefit of it as it was pretty straight and easy to hit. Just a mile in the air 😃 I have an older MPF Hybrid shaft that I think I will put in before the weekend as I don't think the Score pairs well with it for me. P.S. The TS4 6I was so good that I ordered the 7-PW as soon as I got home. Putting them together tonight.

I’ve been using the 2.0s for a few weeks and I agree. In lower humidity they feel good but I noticed they felt “squishy” and not as stable as it got hot.

In case anyone wanted to see the PTM. It’s hard to tell he quality of the paint and milling online but in person 🔥. Putting on my putting green the feel is so good! The only thing I wish is that they left the face clean. Not a fan of the white shuriken so I can see myself possibly removing the white and leaving naked. Golfworks, since it seems like you’ve listened to our feedback for the current irons, the next milled set of putters minimize the lettering/emblems.

I haven’t played the 775s in many years. I wasn’t a fan of it because the face was too deep and it didn’t’ have very forgiving sole for my steep swing. I haven’t hit the KE4 yet but the face height seems much better. Not too shallow where I don’t feel comfortable off the tee or deep rough but shallow enough to hit off of tighter lies. My first time in a 5H as higher lofted hybrids looked weird but the KE4 looks really good at address.

Sorry this is the center shafted putter head. I bought the Pak that comes with the Golfworks Black Matte shaft. I believe it’s MA1010-BLK.

I have a PTM-5+/Black Matte shaft drying along with a TS4 6I and a TC IST 5Hybrid as an experiment. The PTM is absolutely gorgeous in person.

How has it been comboing the TS4/TE+? I just ordered a TS4 DBM 6I and experimenting with 5H. If the 5H doesn't work out, I wondered about the TE+ in the 5iron. Any pictures of both at address to show transition?
