I think many of you are conflating 2 issues. There’s the issue of what “unlimited” golf means. And like telecom, they can probably throttle and limit you within reason and still label it “unlimited”. It’s likely in the fine print of the contract, something like “unlimited golf when the course is available” But, then there’s the issue of “bad behavior”. And that’s not limited to members or league participants, both can act like jerks. It’s unacceptable and needs to stop.

I would take it a step further and say you have to be aligned in your objectives as well. For example, a coach who excels in accuracy isn’t a great choice to help someone seeking distance, and vice versa. If you aren’t on the same page, the relationship won’t be productive. Worse, it can actually end up counterproductive and frustrating.

My unpopular opinion…..there are a lot of BAD golf teachers, many who are “professionals “. Assuming that going to a pro to get lessons will make you better is a bad assumption
